First time the food was really good. Got the vegetable plate. And the Ethiopian beer was good too.

My best friend is Ethiopian and her mom makes authentic food weekly. I love it each time. I was craving so I thought why not give one of these restaurants a try. I chose this location because of reviews and the good pricing. My experience all around was great. The guy I placed my order with on the phone was friendly and helpful. He helped me decide between two dishes. I chose the doro wot platter. It is the main ethiopian dish and the white on the top right is made out of cheese n milk its like feta cheese but a diff flavor n taste. The chicken was so tender and the meal its self was very flavorable . I wished it was a little spicer. I should have asked for berbere. Regardless I was full, satisfied and would go back.

We liked the food, but… it arrived 45 min after the order. Also, 5 or so min after our order, our waitress came back to let us know that they were out of regular injera, only gluten free one. Since we didn’t imagine it was possible to get our food without one, we said yes to the gluten free injera, but we didn’t expect that they would also charge us for it in this situation. And they did charge. Lastly, they don’t serve tap water, only water in small plastic bottles, about which they forget to tell you when you ask for water. (If we knew it was plastic bottles, we would have skipped it.)

We shared a divine meal for two here right before Valentine’s Day. We had the Baltimorean, which is a very generous feast for two people. This is celebration food, not everyday food. You rip off pieces of injera and use them as a spoon to scoop up the veggies and meat in the middle. Spicy and sweet and tangy veggies, plus a spicy lamb stew in the middle. Cannot recommend it highly enough. An extremely memorable meal. Would recommend to anyone.

I came in during lunch time and the young lady was very courteous. I got a veggie platter with 9 options and a few veggie sambusa, everything was amazing. I have dined in and gotten carry out and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The flavors were so good to me and the injera was soft and perfect.

By far, one of the MOST DELICIOUS food I have ever had in my life. Oh my! We found this place about 3 weeks ago and we have been back at least two times a week since. The atmosphere is groovy, very hip and chic evenings during the weekend. Very quiet and calm during weekday afternoons and evenings! It’s a bit small but if they could ever get live Ethiopian music in this place…oh man, I’d move across the street just to be closer and spend the rest of my life at this place. The staff is very friendly and overall incredible!!

Such succulent flavors for one who misses great Ethiopian Food (yeah, I’m calling out NYC for their overpriced Ethiopian). The Awaze Lamb Tibs were perfectly spicy and not gamey at all. The Shiro (chickpeas) were also wonderfully spiced and paired perfectly with the injera! The lentils and gomen were top notch! Service was fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and attentive!
This place is a gem, and absolutely worth a visit!

Food was great! My co-worker and I had a great time and really enjoyed our meals. It was nice to not be bothered by our waitress with constant questions about how the food tasted. I enjoyed the options and the waitress being helpful with the descriptions of the food. I think they have great food options. It’s important to note, if you ask for water it will be bottled and you will be charged, you might as well get an actual drink.
