This place absolutely lives up to its reputation. There is a lot to like here including incredible depth in the broth, perfectly cooked noodle, reasonable prices on all items including beers. Conveniently located near the Metra station. Worth a trip to Evanston.

The Spicy Miso is top notch! Spice level is about a 6 but theyll ramp it up for you. Theres flavor everywhere – youll love it. Cozy joint with a great ambiance. Awesome spot for coworkers & friends. Kudos, guys.

The noodles tasted like instant ramen noodles (and probably were), the pork belly was tough, and I got one piece of seaweed and one fish cake in my shoyu bowl. The pork buns are dry from-frozen buns filled with sweet aoli. Big disappointment, especially given the price point.
