Priding in the simple things such as great food, service, and atmosphere, Table to Stix Ramen aims to bring all of these important elements to the table with good old fashioned ramen. During the 80’s in South Korea and even till this day, instant ramen has been a staple of the Korean people’s diet being served anywhere from highway rest stops to established bars and restaurants. It’s not uncommon to see ramen being enjoyed while standing on high tops or more so on a foldable coffee table in the living rooms of people’s homes while sitting on the floor. Therefore, directionally ramen went from the kitchen to the table to a pair of chopsticks, hence the name…Table To Stix

We’ve gone here multiple times throughout the last decade and we have always loved it. We always get two different ramens (typically the classic tonkotsu and the shoyu pork) and a bun flight to share. It’s our favorite place for ramen in the area by a mile and has won the approval of many friends we’ve brought along here too.
We especially appreciate the great service we’ve experienced time and time again. They are so accommodating when we bring kids (quick to bring extra spoons/chopsticks when a toddler drops theirs and etc.). One time, the staff let us sit in the restaurant 30 minutes before it opened for lunch on a very cold day so we could stay warm. Overall, Both the food and service are worth coming back for.

Was really hoping for more after seeing the reviews of this place. It was pretty dead when we came in for lunch. Food came out slow and so was the service. Pretty small spot but normal for a ramen place. The pork belly for our ramen didn’t taste that great which was a turnoff. The bao bun sampler was pretty pricey but they were large, unfortunately we didn’t find one that we liked compared to others we have had at other places. I’d give them another shot if we are in town though.

Everything was so delicious! Ramen was bomb and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Octopus (and the sauce that came with it) was super tender and yummy. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!!!

This place absolutely lives up to its reputation. There is a lot to like here including incredible depth in the broth, perfectly cooked noodle, reasonable prices on all items including beers. Conveniently located near the Metra station. Worth a trip to Evanston.

Cute ramen place in the burbs! A few seats but it wasn’t too full in the middle of the day on a sunday. They had a vegan ramen option and it was pretty good. Broth could use more flavor but the toppings were delicious. Good portion sizes and nice atmosphere

This place started my love for ramen. I was stationed in Great Lakes for two years and would try and get to this place at least once a month. I now, live in Kentucky and have literally made a 7 hour commute just to have people eat here !
This place is my favorite place I’ve ever eaten Ramen at.
The place is small, and quiet, service is excellent but the ramen is even better! If you’re in or around Evanston you. Have. To. Try. This. Place.
You won’t regret it. I promise

The ramen was really good, and they had quick service even at a busy time. The portions are fairly large. I would go back just to try more appetizers. The tempura shrimp was amazing, and the takoyaki looked great too. It’s fairly pricy for a ramen shop but the quality is worth it.

Good place for ramen (I really love the Spicy Miso) with good service most of the time.
They have some tasty small bites like the Gyoza and the Crispy Calamari. Their best dish was the Pork Belly Buns, but for some reason they change it now to Bulgogi Buns (witch is not good).
PS- try the , it’s really great!

Spicy Miso was a 10/10
Delicious spot with some wonderful vibes. The base broth is solid and the ingredients good. Enjoyed the service and the beer was ice cold. Definitely will return when in Evanston again.
