It’s a great place for everyone no matter what situation you are in. Even if you don’t have money; you can volunteer there to earn your meal. The staff and all the customers are friendly and caring for one another. Love it!!!

I absolutely love this place. It is pay-what-you-can/donate labor, which has helped me and countless others eat filling, healthy meals when money is tight. Each day you get a selection of quality salad, soup, pizza and even dessert. Some days they have live music!

Amazing little concept and they do a lot of good things in the community. The Chicken Alfredo Pizza was tasty. Greens salad was a little different. The pay what you want concept is probably a little difficult to maintain while trying to offer a broader menu than they have. Can’t say I would crave going back for the food, but to support the concept and ideals, yes, I would eat there again for those reasons.

I originally went walked in to just get a drink , cool off and plug in my cell. But I quickly changed my mind. I stumbled into the most charming and absolutely wonderful little cafe. It was like I stepped into another world. The people working were happy to be there and even happier to help me. Had no clue if I had $1 to spend or $100. They run on donations. I wound up getting 2 pieces of pizza, a salad fit for a king, a cup of the best ham and bean soup and to top it off a piece of lemon pie with a glass of sweet tea. I gave them all my money. I adore this place. All walks of life where there, which is the way it should be. Please if your in the downtown area and want a truly nice place to eat….try them. It was so refreshing to see what an asset this place is to our community. It makes me proud to see places like this in my city!

The food is good quality, especially the cinnamon rolls and creative roasted root-vegetable cold salads. The sweet tea tastes syrupy like they had it shipped in from Macon, Georgia. They also provide dignity and nutrition via their pay what you can policy. The limited menu is only a challenge if you have a particularly complex diet. Vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free are all fine, but if you’re combining you may struggle. Mostly, the dining room emits a warmth and welcome that is cultivated through years of trust and authenticity. Some time when you want comfort food, leave the long line next door and walk into this inviting space.
