Table 7 Bistro is definitely a vibe! The espresso martini was excellent — smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the better ones I’ve had lately.

I also ordered the shrimp and grits. It was good, but not quite great. The grits had nice flavor and texture, but the shrimp could’ve been grilled a little better and seasoned more boldly to really make the dish stand out. With just a bit more char and seasoning, it would’ve been amazing.

Overall, I’d absolutely come back — especially for the cocktails and atmosphere. Great spot for drinks and a nice dinner out!

I ventured in because the prices seemed more reasonable than next to the convention center. They were. I also was pleasantly surprised by the yummy and affordable Tiffany Mimosa. Delicious! A little 2 sweet for more than 1, but worth ordering at brunch. I also had 2 eggs over easy with toast and they were made to perfection. Ate it so fast I didn’t get a pic! Service was attentive and solid.

Both the breakfast and dinner menu are great, really fresh and a lot of options. (I personally recommend the chicken and waffles.)
I had a good experience with Guncha, she was very attentive and helpful throughout my few times at the bistro. She also recommended me foods when I had a hard time picking. Was not disappointed.
Also, the kitchen and dining area are hygienic. The tables were wiped down after each use. Thank you Guncha.

Pancakes were dry not fluffy. They only had 40% vegetable oil spread not real butter. Could eat pancakes. I dont get the rye toast with eggs Benedict. Why not English muffins. Price was high $80 for 3 people breakfast. They charge a credit card fee and auto include gratuity. We didnt get coffee or it would have been more. Some of the worst pancakes I have had. A breakfast spot should always have whipped butter. Easy to make from heavy whipping cream.

I checked-in late after a long flight. Happy to see Table 7 bistro was still serving food! The place was empty, but Kae (Kirstin) at the bar was very welcoming. She gave me some menu recommendations, and I settled on the Braised beef Mac n cheese. I loved my food, and loved my experience sitting at the bar. Kae is a gem of a human. The type of person that will bring light and be an asset any and every where she goes. Great service, effortlessly.

Horrible experience here today. The waitress, manager, and the staff took over 18 min to even acknowledge me being there. They walked right by numerous of times. No greeting or pleasantries. Then when you finally get there attention, after asking 2-3 times when will I be served. The manager was just non challant about it. The food was mediocre at best. Not worth the money at all, waste of time, disgusting staff. Doesn’t matter that the restaurant is busy, but human nature would tell you to say hello and we will be with you shortly. I visit Houston monthly, and this place should be avoided, unless you like being ignored and treated like garbage.

Oh and yes, you ask for coffee they bring it black, you ask for creamer they give you 1. You ask for the check, they bring it without a pen. It takes 5+ min for them to re-acknowledge you, because they walk around so much lol I live in Miami, I know busy restaurants but never been treated like this.

I understand it’s convenient if you’re downtown, but enjoy being treated like that and ignored. Thank me later

Got a Moscow mule and truffle fries. Mule only tasted of lime, no ginger. Fries were generic frozen fries with a cheap truffle oil. Lacking salt.

Overall not a great experience. Seems like almost anywhere in this city has better food and drinks.

I always eat here when I stay at CQ. I make sure to charge the bill to my room so they can use the deposit. There is a good variety of food to choose from and the presentation and food quality is above average. Good value for $20 as a sit down restaurant.

Even though the restaurant was mostly empty, there was an air of everyone being totally frazzled. We had to ask for thing several times. The servers were very nice though, perhaps there was a rush before? My latte and crab cake Benedict were good but not phenomenal.

Google reviews didn’t give a great impression of the place but they were not entirely accurate. The staff seemed to be on a rush all of the time, but I definitely didn’t have to wait! And they were very friendly nevertheless.

The food was fine and the drip coffee was excellent! The place is a bit on the pricier side, but nothing too bad.

If you are staying in the Club Quarters hotel or otherwise close by I can recommend Table 7, but otherwise I wouldn’t probably come to eat here.
