Great food, drink, service, and atmosphere! I cannot stress this enough, their gnocchi is an absolute must-try, among the best food we have ever had full stop, perhaps the very best. Fun cocktail menu – red and white sangria are very nice. Can highly recommend fried chicken and salmon entrees. Duck was good, but could’ve used a little more sauce and came out a little cold; they warmed it back up for us and the accompanying risotto is particularly good. Nice salads – shared herb-baked goat cheese salad with my wife and they split it for us. Bread pudding for dessert was just okay, but chocolate mousse tort is another absolute must-try, amazingly rich, chocolatey, and smooth.

Arrival experience and first impression was great. Seating was fine but not intimate-close neighbors (who were unusually loud). Cocktail menu was very good and the wine list was fantastic and not too pricey. We (my wife and I) had a bottle of cab franc and enjoyed it very much. We had the fried shrimp appetizer, Caesar salad and spinach salad. Shrimp was cooked perfectly although the batter was not as coarse as expected given the cornmeal description; we were looking for more crunch. Salads were done perfect. Main courses were duck breast and beef stroganoff; both prepared exceptionally well. We don’t normally get desert but noticed every other table did, so we thought we’d try the chocolate mousse; and WOW, it was delicious! Server was attentive and not pushy, great balance. Excellent value in our opinion. We will def return.

Great place to eat! Very relaxed but elegant feeling. We were sat at the “Paul Newman” table which was semi private but had good views of downtown. The food was phenomenal! The wait staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice date night in the downtown area to go here

This is always a solid meal. Went this time for offerings were quite generous for the price point, and the food was on point and the wine was very reasonably priced. The bisque could have had a bit more sherry but was still tasty

The environment & waitress were nice, however the food was not good. No seasoning on the potatoes, the chicken was overcooked/ tough, & the collard greens were hard/gritty. The steak looked great. The complimentary bread they provided was hard. The portions are small and the food is overpriced.

Went here for a very special night out and dinner. Inside vibe was nice and rustic, and was seated at a nice corner table. Interesting drink options and a sweet potato gnocchi appetizer started our meal and both were tasty. My wife had the Southern Fried Chicken breast with the garlic mashed potatoes and the collard greens, and all were very good. My meal took an entirely different turn. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff with filet mignon tips. The first bite was tasty. The beef tender, and the sauce tasty. Literally the remainder of my steak however was completely inedible gristle. The waitress came and took my plate without asking why it appeared untouched. When she returned and then did ask about our meals, I conveyed just how bad it was. I explained that I never mentioned it earlier because one, I kept thinking obviously it would get better, and also she was absent for most of our meal. She then returned from the kitchen and said the chef “appreciated my feedback” and explained that the meat in my Stroganoff was the trimmings leftover from the actual filets served. So for $26 I got the scraps in sauce with pasta. It was never even offered to remove this item from our bill, but only offered a free dessert to compensate for a completely inedible entrée. This was my first trip to Table 50, and was under the impression it was one of the nicest restaurants in the area. From my experience it is definitely not, and the lackadaisical attitude from the kitchen and the staff was truly perplexing. I left without asking for the manager, but not sure if that would have changed the outcome, as I see the management hasn’t commented on other negative experiences in their reviews. Sadly , I likely won’t be giving them another chance due to this non caring attitude. With Carlos now closed, Roanoke is definitely in need of a restaurant that offers a truly special experience and food quality to match. Table 50 is not that restaurant.

We ventured out to try this restaurant as it looks so cute from the outside… and sigh.

Nice atmosphere with good service. If having Old Fashion make sure to ask for the large ice cube. The Mule drink is very good. The crab dip appetizer is delicious but super hot in temperature.

Following the suggestion of a local person, I visited this restaurant and do not regret my decision at all!!! Best steak, salad and dessert.

We found hair in the pork chops and the restaurant did nothing to make it right. We paid full price for it and only got an apology from the waitress. She said the cooks don’t wear hairnets and the manager said she will not be asking them to wear hairnets in the future either. The wine was not good. The beer was the only thing that tasted good. Mussels appetizer is better at Bernard’s down the street. We were extremely disappointed with our experience and felt like we wasted our money here. Wish we never went. The place actually smelled awful when we walked in and we should’ve gone elsewhere at that point. As soon as we walked in my friend commented on the toilet smell and suggested we go somewhere else. The employees are stuck-up and their restaurant is not good or clean enough to back up the attitudes. The manager actually hung up on us when we called to make her aware of the issue and our extreme dissatisfaction. Just go to Bernard’s instead.
