Had very delicious lunch. Saturday afternoon place is not crowded. The paneer starter was delicious and the masala used there was flavorful The masala dosa was very crispy and masala was good. The sambhar however was little sweet. The mutton kheema with paratha was very good. Goat fry briyani was very flavorful and delicious. Portions are very generous. Excellent customer service. They also provide complimentary masala chai which is very good too. Enjoyed our lunch.

Great food! Fast service! Reasonably priced. Great quantity! Kids were pleasantly surprised with the 70 mm paper dosa- a must try. Samosas and the mint chutney were flavorful. The best restaurant we have eaten at in SF so far. Also the masala tea is on the house.

Me and my girlfriend got the Andhra curry chicken, chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, and butter naan. As someone who is very picky about her naan, I can safely say that the naan was fresh, crunchy, and delicious. The food is as authentic as it gets. 10/10 would recommend Tabla if you’re looking for authentic north Indian or south Indian food. They offer amazing masala chai on the house, which was just icing on the cake. Dario, our server, was incredibly kind. We got to Tabla at 2:15pm (they are closed 2:30pm-5pm), but Dario didn’t make us feel rushed. He even offered fun conversations and came out to the car to say hello to our dog. The only thing keeping this place from being absolutely perfect is that it’s not dog friendly. Cannot recommend this place enough, it only gets better if Dario’s your server!
