We stopped here for lunch today and it was such a quiet, peaceful spot. The place felt and looked very clean, and our waiter was polite, friendly, and attentive. There were gluten free options as well. The food came out super fast and was absolutely amazing! We ordered a Thai iced tea, Pad Kee Mao, and one of the lunch specials — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

Never had it before but the Thai beef noodle was excellent! The Thai fried rice was satisfying too.

We’ve been ordering here for as long as they’ve been around. Recently ordered our usual only to find it chopped up into very little pieces. A few noodles were slightly larger than chocolate chips. Considering the price for two is over $53 plus tip. The noodles should be large pieces (as normal in the past). The large lack of veggies has been noticed as well. First time I’ve ever joked about being fed leftovers. It almost appears we just got a bunch of leftovers scraped into one pile. I really hope my joking opinion is not correct.
Also, what happened to the flavors. Very weird taste overall.
Question: Did we finish our meal?
Answer: No.
Question: Will we be returning?
Answer: I’m not sure.

New Thai restaurant in North Bend right off I90 exit 31. I visited 6 days after grand opening. Overall, the food was to very good and the prices were reasonable.
They have a good selection of dishes, however they do not have fresh spring rolls or peanut sauce, which is a bummer for a guy like me.
The down side:
They ask that you scan the QR code at your table to order and pay online. You are required to pay and tip before your food is made. They also ask that you clean your own table.
Please keep the lack of customer service in mind if you tip.
On the plus side:
The restaurant and RESTROOM were very clean. The restroom has a lighted mirror, however there is only one restroom, so ladies beware!
I’m have the restaurant 5 Stars because overall a very pleasant experience!

My wife had phad Thai with fresh tofu. The flavors and ingredients were excellent. She had Jasmine tea as well, which was very good. I enjoyed the phad see-ew with chicken. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. For dessert, we had the crispy banana – a deep-fried banana with coconut caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. A wonderful way to top off our meal.

Taan Thai has quickly become one of our go-to restaurants here in North Bend. The food is delicious — we especially love all of the curry options, the Tom Yum soup, and the appetizers! Additionally, the employees are friendly, the atmosphere is fresh, and when ordering takeout, the food is always ready when they say it will be.

This is the perfect place to eat and feel like home especially Black Sticky Rice with Icecream. All soups are delicious and good for Thai people and Americans too. Highly recommend to come here.

We ate here a few days ago about an hour before they close. While we were eating, the wait staff started mopping the floor next to us. The cleaning chemical smell was strong and ruin our appetites. To make it worse, she came and refill our water and packed our food with her same cleaning gloves on??!! What the hell?! The food tasted good but why are they mopping/cleaning while we are still eating??!! NO CLASS/ NO RESPECT!! I would not eat here again -ugh!! The manager should tell them to wait til people are done at least!!!

Finally, a good Thai restaurant in North Bend! Not just “good enough”, but very good. The decor is also top notch. Modern, light and airy.
My only criticism is that the menu is understandably “safe”. Please add fish cakes! It’s also missing summer rolls.

My husband and I recently tried this new Thai restaurant near our home in our small town North Bend. I ordered Khao Soi and my husband got Chicken Pad Thai. I think it’s one of the best Khao Soi I’ve had so far. The creamy, slightly spicy curry broth (I did 3 for spicy level) coated each bite of the tender chicken and noodles. The broth was perfect. Chicken Pad Thai was so well balanced.. sweet, tangy, herby, nutty, and a little bit of spiciness. The prices were reasonable for its portion. I definitely highly recommend this place for authentic and delicious Thai food.
We also got the Thai tea and it was really good too!! We loved this place. Will definitely come back!
