My husband and I visited this restaurant last night and it was wonderful. I had the garlic chilli chicken with mushroom rice and my husband had a king prawn bhoona with a peshwari naan and we shared popadoms and spiced onions. I like my curry very spicy and it did not disappoint ️ we also had the cobra and kingfisher draught beers which went down a treat
We cannot thank the staff and chefs enough for their kindness and for the delicious food. Best curry we have had in a long time and we will definitely be back

Great night out for the three of us. Easily the best food in Carluke. The place was tastefully decorated, not very loud considering how many people there were, and the food was great with nice sized portions.

Great experience. Food was actually better then what I expected from the outlook. Was spicy enough for South Asians to enjoy and portions were good aswell. Reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I have had better Indian food in other restaurants plus in service there was a small inconvenience as we waited for almost 30 minutes after finishing the food to wait for someone to come and clean table and take the bill. Had to look for a staff member and ask.

Served by Zack tonight and what a job he did! Good young lad with excellent table service knowing when to interact and when to leave us alone as there is nothing worse than a waiter or waitress who pesters you throughout the meal but this was not Zack. He knew the limits.
The food was to a great standard but unfortunately not as great as our Zachary but then again, what could live up to such a standard.
I would highly recommend the Taal to anyone in the area as long as Zach is still serving tables with his charm.

1st time visiting Taal and I wasn’t disappointed, the restaurant is lovely and the service amazing, everyone was super helpful and friendly. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious, I couldn’t eat all mine so I’ve got the leftovers home to scoff tomorrow. Fantastic value for money too. Perfect place for a date night or dinner with friends, there is even a wee bar area where you could sit and have a cocktail. Can’t wait to go back!!

Great atmosphere! We were there Friday evening. It was busy but not too busy. And the food was served in a timely manner.
This brings me nicely on to our favourite dishes! The naan was the best I have ever had! We went pashwari and it didn’t disappoint!
We had the tasting menu; starter of poppadoms with some dips. The dips were different to your normal Indian… It was far nicer and full of flavour!
We then had mixed pakora, various veg and chicken. The mushrooms were great!
Would recommend. Won’t break the bank and tastes really good! A great quantity of food too.
