Just perfect! I went to Taaj Palace to try their lunch buffet, which is roughly $20 per person.
The food was amazing! The butter chicken and the spicy chicken with basmati rice are the must have. They have good selection of dishes, everything looks great and tasty.
Definitely worth the price you pay for.

The food was so fresh here and the atmosphere well maintained and clean. The rice was perfect and Garlic Naan fantastic! Lunch buffet was wonderful- salad bar superb . I’m vegetarian and the food was not too oily. We will be going back!

It was our fault that we went to this restaurant. We ordered food (6 items) over the phone last night at 9:25 PM on 12/28. We asked about the spice level, as we have 3 kids. Rano (the owner) said spice level 5 is regular and that kids can eat it. So we ordered one food item with spice level 5 and the rest of the items with spice level 6. To our surprise, the level 5 item was super spicy, to the point that even adults couldn’t eat it.
When we called the restaurant, they didn’t respond properly. So, we had to drive 8 miles to go to the restaurant. We spoke with the chef and managers, and they were rude and didn’t even apologize for what they did. We got on a call with Rano, who was even worse than her staff. She was extremely rude, which was not surprising. She didn’t apologize for the mistake; instead, she asked us to bring back the food we had trashed earlier in the night to claim a refund.

Came here for the lunch buffet with my buddy. We loved the food. Everything we tried was tasty. Over all my favorites were the Rice, Naan bread, Chicken Tandoori, and the butter chicken. I had a little bit of everything. Will come back again.

I tried this restaurant for lunch buffet today. He owners wife made me feel very awkward. She just stared at me and watched me eat. Every time I liked up she was looking at me with a disgusted look on her face. I smiled at her and it was never returned. Then when I got up to use the bathroom she cleared my table and reset it. When I came out of the bathroom she was there walking towards me with my bill and a big smile on her face. I walked over to my table and said I wasn’t done. She copped an attitude and cleared off one of the table settings. I was the only customer in the place. One other was there when I arrived around 1:30p. The lunch buffet closed at 2:30p. At 2:20p they turned the food warmers off and started turning lights off. I felt like a nuisance instead of a customer. Then the whole kitchen staff and owners all got plates of food and no one was available to cash my out. So I was just sitting there waiting. And hey shouldn’t be open till 2:30 if they want everyone out by 2p.
The food was average-the naan bread was doughy and the rice was hard and dry. Several of them he dishes were very salty. I WOULD NEVER WASTE $21 there again.

They changed their setup a bit from last time I went. More variety of food in the lunch buffet and in my opinion better taste. Cranked it up a notch. New cook? Showed up on a Friday for lunch. Based on this trip I’d give them first place among the 4 or 5 indian places I go.

This is the worst place I ever eat mutton briyani . I got Imli (sour fruit ) inside it and shimla Mirch . They didn’t know how to make biryani . They only mixed with plain rice . And the taste is worse in entire USA . The chef is worse than me .
