I ordered pick up on a quiet Thursday night – it was ready so quickly and when I received it, they’d gone above and beyond. I only ordered a sushi pizza and salmon roll, but they added noodles, tempura and bean sprouts. Delicious and so kind!

Take sushi is my go to sushi place in Saint John. Me and my boyfriend have gone once every month for the past 4 or 5 months. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff there are extremely kind. I absolutely enjoy going to Take sushi each month I go. I’d even say I love it more and more with each month I go.

Great place to get some good sushi for a good price! Although I’ve been to places with nicer atmospheres for sure, that isn’t what mattered, I’m there for food and they did not disappoint! I highly suggest the takoyaki and eel maki.

Noodle dishes were really solid. Korean food here is also very underrated. Definitely a lot more to try besides sushi.

One of the best lunch spots in town. Affordable, delicious, has many vegetarian options, and great, quick service to boot.

Had to adjust review slightly as we went back for a second visit and there was no a soul in the place and the older lady was serving but she was not very friendly at all. We asked for Glen and she said he was not in and out at shops. It sure was a different experience and we ordered one lunch special and wanted the exact same salmon sashimi and she wanted to up charge us $5 which I said was not the case on last visit so we cancelled. The atmosphere was bland and she was very inhospitable. Also gave me a smaller bowl of miso with no tofu because it was served with special. Unfortunate inconsistency
As we just moved here from the west coast of Vancouver, we are used to experiencing great sushi, and we were pleasantly surprised to find Ta-Ke Sushi in uptown Saint John! It’s not often that you come across excellent sushi in this area, but Ta-Ke definitely exceeded our expectations.
The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The prices are fair, making it easy to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank. Glen, the operator, is super friendly and hands-on, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
We were so impressed that Ta-Ke Sushi will now be our go-to spot for sushi whenever we’re in the area. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic sushi experience in Saint John!

Life happens and Sushi helps!!!! 🙂
Oh this place just stole my heart. Cute little place, cozy ambiance vibes and seems to be run by small family. There are ample places for sitting. The menu gives you a wide range of options to choose for Appetisers, to salad or Main course. I went for lunch and was amazed by their lunch menu, definitely should try it!!!! It’s a MUST I would say. The sole reason being the dish they offer for lunch is way reasonable price wise and the quantity and quality is just amazing. Must Must try them out!!! I cannot wait to go back again! Sushi on my Mind! Also parking is free on the weekends. Highly highly recommend this place for Sushi Lovers like me! Please #supportlocal

I recently dined at Ta-Ke Sushi and had a fantastic experience! The ambiance was cozy, the service was impeccable, and, most importantly, the sushi was absolutely delicious. Each roll was expertly crafted with fresh ingredients, and the presentation was stunning. I can’t wait to go back for more.

If I lived in Saint John I’d eat here every week. Delicious, excellent service, and great prices!

Sushi here was mostly amazing. The salmon and tuna sashimi were fresh, and I really enjoyed the slightly seared of tuna. I got the chirashi, which was pretty good value, as it came with quite a bit of sashimi, rice, small dishes, and soup. Only things that I’d complain about are the rice being slightly over-vinegared and the shrimp sashimi having a slightly fishy smell. However, I’d still recommend this restaurant to most people.
