Many reviews complain of slow service but we had no problem. Ordered ahead and food was ready within 5 minutes of arriving. The food is banger. $8 for a hearty Torta, yes please. Staff was chill, food was fresh and delicious. The fries are different just as a heads up. We’ll definitely be back.

Too much for extra small and extra expired food. I have never seen a taco or quesadilla that small. And the lady at the cash register lied because I asked her how big they were and I guess she was showing me the size of the grande with her hands which was a normal size taco. The tiny-quesadilla was good, but the tiny-taco was cold and the meat was old and dry. The corn tortilla shell was stale and tough around the edges. So I was able to eat half the food I purchased. They must be having financial difficulties, being in that expensive gas station because they’re serving old and expired food. And I can’t say it’s because they’re in a gas station, because I’ve had excellent food at a gas station.

What a find! Retired, starved and driving by. My husband stopped here once before and knew it was something I would like. Was he right. Years ago I lived on the Mexican border for work and became a lover of authentic Mexican cuisine. This place hit the mail on the head for me! Reasonably priced, hot, fresh, well prepared, friendly service. Just a few minutes and we had a large portion. In would have taken a picture but it was so good I couldn’t stop eating!

ordered a 3 steak taco dinner with onion, 3 steak tacos with onion, a steak torta and 3 tamales
the first one had 3 big pieces of gristle, the beans were cold as was the rice, the 3 beef tamales were burnt, the torta was average. not at all what it use to be. Looking for a new taco place.

Here it is 3 days l8r and they want me to prove they were bad? so you want me to take pictures of the stuff after i tried to eat it?.
How about some quality control on your meat while you are cooking it?
Key Details About Gristle

What it is: Technically cartilage or ligaments, often appearing as silvery-white streaks or hard bits.
Location: Found in muscles that get a lot of exercise, such as the shoulder, leg, and rump regions.
Texture: Rubbery and chewy, refusing to break down under heat.
Distinction from Fat: While fat is soft and renders, gristle is firm and inedible.

This is a “taco truck” inside the gas station. It has a big red taco truck painted on the wall inside, so you can’t miss it. I’ve had the al pastor, steak, and ground beef. They’re all 4 star, though I would call the ground beef a little too greasy.
Rice, beans, quesadillas, burritos, and tacos are all good in my own experience, and certainly on the more authentic side.

Ta Canijo, what happened?? I used to love these tacos and would tell everyone how amazing they were. I don’t know why they changed, but now they have absolutely no flavor. Very disappointing.

The food and prices were great, came out hot and fresh, we went to Raging waves and wanted something outside of the park. This was a good choice and I highly recommend you try them when in the area.

Tacos are extremely small and super super bland. Had the asada and Al pastor. And the asada was extremely over cooked with zero flavor. And the Al pastor had decent flavor but wasn’t great. For the money not worth it.

Placed an online order and when I got there the place was closed. Been trying for multiples weeks and various different hours to try and get a refund and nothing. This place isn’t even open.
