My review pertains to the meals delivery service as I have not had an opportunity to visit the storefront yet.

This is hands down the best and most fresh at-home meals preparation service. Everything is meticulously packaged and the sauces are all home-made. I’m impressed at the unique and flavorful profile of Northern Vietnamese cuisine (my first time trying!). In contrast to Southern Vietnamese style pho, the Northern style is more of an umami flavor profile. I stalled on my review because I wanted to include pictures with my review but I always end up eating the food before taking pictures! I was able to capture a couple below but doesn’t do complete justice to how amazing T-ZO is. To top things off, the owner is passionate and very kind. I’m so fortunate to have this meal service in our backyard.

The owner cares deeply about his business, which is always an excellent start. He walked us through the various menu items before we ordered at the self service tablet. He’s very into it, which is amazing.

This is likely different Vietnamese food than you’ve had before, i.e. a different region, less represented in the DC area.

We loved a few items, but would pass on a few others. The beverages were excellent! The Pho beef was amazing, again, different than most Pho I’ve had before. The egg based rolls were also a definite ‘get again’.

The wings and egg rolls were on the normal range.

I would definitely come back for the aforementioned recommend above.

Went on a whim and was highly pleased. I didn’t get his name but he’s always there lol, took the time to explain the difference between traditional and northern, they even label the sauces to coincidence with your order. I’m definitely a fan and will be coming back for more since I have already been a couple times. By the way, their Fruit Tea is a MUST addition to your order. Extremely tasty and refreshing, and the Watermelon tea is just as good. Stop reading and place your order!

Top notch service! Been coming here for a while now and this place never disappoints. Food quality is delicious and on point. Love their beef pho, fried rice and spring rolls, but their honey siracha wings are fire. But I think what really makes this place shine is the staff. Super friendly and very informative, esp. on the sauces that match well with certain dishes – yes, I HIGHLY recommend this place!

A bit pricey but the food was enjoyable. The owner explained the Northern Style Pho to us and the popular dishes. I had the Hanoi Style Stir Fried Beef Pho and a bunch of various rolls (avocado summer roll, shrimp/pork summer rolls, crispy spring rolls, another roll with yellow crispy stuff inside). A platter of bean sprouts, basil, Jalapeño slices did not accompany the soup (might be a Southern Style thing). However, there was a good amount of onions, scallion (green onion), and cilantro which made the broth tastier. The noodles are slightly wider and lighter… which I definitely enjoyed. It didn’t seem all clumped together under the meat…rather it was evenly sitting underneath. My sis had requested Hoisin sauce which other Pho places usually have. This one does not, which I don’t mind because I don’t care for the sauce. They also have a pickled sliced garlic condiment which I enjoy. Caphe Banh Mi is the only other pho place I know of that provides this as well. Also checked out their Vietnamese coffee. One hot one with condensed milk, and another hot one with a whipped egg. Made it nice and frothy. The frothy egg coffee drink was at a 75% sweetness level (you can adjust the amount of condensed milk you’d like). It was definitely desserty. Overall, I intend on coming back for their other non soup dishes and other appetizers/sides. Good experience.

This restaurant brought me home. I have been trying to find a restaurant where I can eat Northern Vietnamese style in many big cities like Boston, NYC, Orlando for a long time but no where I could have it.
The pho in T-zo is 90-95% like Hanoi and I really appreciate the owner’s effort ♥️♥️
If you come here, highly rec stir-fried beef pho, hanoi style bun cha and egg hot chocolate

Great food and the staff is super nice and helpful if you have any questions about the menu. Branch out and try something new, I’m sure you’ll be pleased! We loved the crepe spring roll that they recommended. All the deliciousness of the fresh summer roll with an added crunch!

The real northern vietnamese cuisine is finally here in the US. I’ve been in the US for years but really hard to find a northern cuisine restaurant while almost all the vietnamese restaurants out there are southern taste. The place is in nice neighborhood, easy to find, large free parking. Very nice, clean and relaxing decor. I ate pho noodle and hanoi grilled pork vermicelli and really like the taste. Absolutely will come back and try more dishes.
