I’ve always driven by this little café, noticing its charming exterior and bustling patio, but I never took the time to stop and explore. This past weekend, I finally decided to check it out, and I’m so glad that I did. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The space is cozy yet vibrant, with soft lighting, rustic wooden tables, and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air.

I ordered a latte and a slice of their signature chocolate cake. Both were absolutely fantastic. The latte was perfectly balanced, with creamy foam and a smooth, rich flavor, while the cake was moist, decadent, and beautifully presented. It was clear that the baristas and chefs here take great pride in crafting their food and drinks with care and creativity.

What impressed me most was the attention to detail in every aspect, from the friendly service to the thoughtful plating. It felt like a place where you could easily linger for hours, reading or chatting with friends. I can’t believe I waited so long to visit, and I’m already planning my next trip back to try more items on their menu.

If you are looking for a chill spot to just hang out with your friends, study or eat good Korean food and dessert than T-town has you covered. Just a short drive away from Tacoma, people have been flocking to T town for their instagram worthy treats and their meaty tonkatsu. Overall it is worth a visit!

Really love this place. I always get the pork and cheese fries, and their potato cheese dogs with half meat/half cheese.

I alternate between regular and spicy for the fries but it’s always so good !!! the potato cheese dogs strike a lovely balance between being sweet and savory, they’re my go-to for this.

This is our long time favorite for taiyaki to go. We usually get Nutella and custard filling. They make it to order and it’s worth the little wait.
We Tried a pistachio cream latte and Dubai chocolate latte, less sweet. The older lady insisted that it’s better iced. She was right, it was delicious! It was almost too pretty to drink.

I ordered the tteokbokki and halgatteok, and it was delicious! I love the variety in what they serve and all the different delicious things you can get. However the service was definitely questionable?.. it felt slow and sometimes you’d ask for something and they’d make you feel like dumb for asking I don’t know. overall service is a bit slow and unprofessional but the food is delicious and I’ll definitely be coming back regardless! Super good

I really like the atmosphere and the service, the ramen is a bit salty but it’s generally worth the experience.

***2025 update: my husband and I came here again after so long and its still got it. We came in exactly when they opened at 10am. The wait is worth it for the food. Everything was good, even the americano this time! My husband ordered another one to go. This time tried something different: injeolmi toast, cheese dog, spicy pork fries, spicy pork sandwich, pistachio drink (forgot the name). My son and I came a separate time and got the taiyaki with ice cream as well. 10/10 every time! Love this place! Adding a couple more pics. ***

I don’t normally review places but I had to with this place. Hubby, son, and I love this place. All the food we tried were good with the exception of the hot Americano my hubby got but we weren’t here with high expectations of coffee.

We tried the bulgogi sandwich, spicy pork sandwich, cheese tteokboki, honey toast, bulgogi and cheese fries and the spicy pork and cheese fries. We also tried a few drinks, banana bubble tea, iced caramel macchiato, and hot white mocha Americano.

Portion sizes were mostly good to share with 2 people with the exception of the sandwiches.

Yes, a bit pricey for the fries and sandwiches but they were so good, we didn’t even care!

I love their buzzer pick up service! It helps to hear over the loudness of the people inside. If you need a place for some quiet, this is not it.

Service was a little slow but they are short-staffed so I understand but otherwise, very nice staff!
Will definitely come again to try their dessert/snack options: taiyaki, bingsu, Korean corn dogs, and hotteok!

Visited last week and tried the waffle. Very delicious. There was a small wait but it was definitely worth it. I have been craving tansy waffle ever since. I did not find it was too sweet even with all of the added toppings. The fruits were delightful.

Big menu = impressive, attractive. But once we entered the cafe, I was overwhelmed by a strong and unpleasant “bathroom” smell (bleach/cleaning/dirty, old things). This didn’t go away as we waited for our food and ate it.

My husband liked his Pork Sandwich (I had a bite and was surprised too at how flavorful the meat was and soft the bread was) but my Honeybread Toast was a giant, dense block of bread. I was expecting a fluffy, airy slice. So I couldn’t finish it and it wasn’t very pleasant to eat. Maybe other things on the menu would taste better, but definitely for take-out. Service was good though. The staff was super nice and helpful.

I waited an hour for my ice cream to come out, but the little buzzer they give you to alert you when your food is ready never made a sound. I finally went up to the counter and they told me that the machine that has the flavor I want was out of order. I asked for a different flavor, and when I finally got it, the fish was stale, and my 7+ dollar ice cream was hollow in the middle. I do not recommend t town Cafe.
