Wow! The Tackle Box is Amazing!!! Beautiful atmosphere, so warm and friendly. Superb, professional service! Love, Love, Love My fried lobster tackle box lunch with fried okra and Mac n cheese! The unique Southern seasoning is on point, with the crispness and full bodied flavor that are mouthwateringly delicious! Picture perfect servings with an aroma and additional seasonings that are lip smacking, just wonderful! Reminds me of Mama’s, Grandma’s and Big Mama’s cooking. Once I started eating, I couldn’t stop, so I kept nibbling in the car on the way back to work. I am thoroughly satisfied and will be coming back regularly. Hope they will add desserts to the menu, pound cake, banana pudding, sock it to me cake or peach cobbler…Tackle Box, you have me dreaming and longing for more! God bless and keep you! I always have trouble finding a fish joint that seasons, batters and fries fish like places in the south where I’m from. This place did not disappoint. The macaroni was a little loose but it was still delicious. Fish and okra super crispy and fried hard without me asking. Everything flavorful! Shout out to Coco who prepared my food today. Whenever I come back, I’m asking if she’s there.

It was my first time, and it was definitely memorable. The staff were friendly and made recommendations. I got the two item tacklebox (fried catfish and jumbo shrimp) with French fries, and a side order of zucchini. The food was delicious and fresh. Will definitely return in the near future

Wish I would’ve order a larger portion on the fish because it was just that good!
Oh beware that Hot Sauce it was HOT but I’m a weakling when it comes to spicy things so don’t pay me any mind! LOL Nice people, good quality of food! Will be back with Hubby next time. 🙂

Couldn’t head back to St. Louis without getn me sum good food!!!! I ordered the fried catfish & shrimp grits. My food was AMAZING!!! Full of flavor, seasoned well & piping hot! Will definitely be coming back to Cali to The Tackle Box.

This place is awesome! I tried the fried lobster, SO DELICIOUS! And bacon hush puppies with fried zucchini, very good. The pepper ranch was different and very good. The batter is perfectly crunchy and tasty and the staff is friendly!

It was ok. The cashier was overwhelmed so her attitude was a little rude because they were understaffed. Not my fault , the food was ok. The portions were great but it was slopped together. The fries were under cooked because the cashier was doing fries and taking orders. It’s was a lot going on. I sure once they get more help the service will get better I see the potential.
