I only added a star because no stars wasn’t an option! I knew this was going to be an issue after I picked up my food and made a stop and got back in the car and the food should usually smell inviting but instead a foul old stale aroma hit me. I still gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it when I got home. The ribs were dry and had a spoiled taste to them and my chicken wings were dry and over cooked. Sides were DISGUSTING! Mac n cheese was dry and overcooked looked like cereal! The green beans were sweet and loaded with sugar! WHO THE HELL PUTS SUGAR IN GREEN BEANS??? I am highly disappointed and really need to make a public announcement to KEEP DRIVING! I wouldn’t even feed the homeless this food!

You pull into the lot and order at the window. Although they had a sign stating they had to recently had to increase prices, our order was what I consider very reasonable. I had a half chicken and Mac and cheese for a total of $12 and my wife got the chicken sandwich and baked beans for $9. It was delicious! The portions were very good and plentiful.
Noteworthy is the fact that the chicken for the sandwiches is on the bone, so don’t just go to town with those first bites! They also have a sauce for the chicken that’s awesome . The Mac and cheese reminds me of something my grandma made (homemade comfort food all day long).
They were finishing a batch of chicken when we ordered and were told it would be 15 minutes for more but it was more like 5. No big deal. They also had a catering truck.
Also, there are picnic tables on site to eat at but I didn’t see a restroom there.
There was a steady stream of people coming and going while I was there, a good sign this is a popular place for people to visit.

They closed at 6 and we didn’t arrive until about 5:15 so they were out of a few meat items but the friendly staff were very accommodating to make up for them with other items. We got the “Little V ” platter and everything was delicious!! Ribs were tender and juicy same as the pork chops the chicken was also moist and everything was perfectly spiced, we had potato salad as one side (out of Mac and cheese) it was not my favorite but the baked beans and greens made up for it for sure!! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! Can’t wait to go back but will definitely go earlier so they won’t run out.I almost forgot the chocolate cake I only got a spoonful because my husband and son finished it off ! It was tasty

After seeing a TikTok review, we just had to check this place out — and wow, it did not disappoint! The service was amazing and super fast. The food was soooo good — we got the sampler and everything was full of flavor! Thank you to the staff for such great service. I’ll definitely be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family, and I can’t wait to come back to try more from the menu!

The best best ribs ever since back in the 80s with the first generation. Outside tables. Plenty of parking.
Just one critique. Add a little mustard, maybe a little smoked paprika to the potato salad.

For the past 25+ years, I’ve always requested T&Js for my birthday dinners, any family event or just a random dinner and they never disappoint. Id happily drive all the way to MD just for their food (i live in Fredericksburg, va) The food is always amazing, and the staff is always so friendly. I will always appreciate the wonderful memories they’ve helped create. A family staple for sure!!

Incredible bbq and even better service! They let us sample almost everything they had. Definitely pay them a visit on Pork Chop Fridays. We ate our sampler (chicken, chops, and ribs) with mac and cheese, collard greens, and cole slaw at one of their picnic tables. We’ll be back!

First time trying this food and I was not completely satisfied. The ribs were beef and tough, the pork chops were pink and not fully cooked. The Mac and cheese was too dry and the potato salad had sugar in it.

I truly appreciate the staff there. They really helped me out today! Ordered the porkchop sandwich and it was delicious. The ribs are great as well. Definitely a little gem in the area.

If this place sets ANY standards for B.B.Q. then I’m becoming vegetarian today! Went there because the reviews were good but….what are you people tongue numb? My chicken was dry and looked like something out of a scary movie! (Photos are before the regretted consumption) Mac and Cheese was OVERCOOKED and TASTELESS! Baked beans tasted like the can that they came out of with a whole bag of sugar dumped in and heated up. Good location for travelers in that desolate area, but damn can we at least get good B.B.Q?…..
This was so bad that I should be TRIPLE refunded and banned for life! (which would be fine with me because I’m NEVER returning! (UNLESS THE OWNER WANTS TO REFUND ME OF COURSE)
