Came to town to visit. First time customer and my waitress, can’t remember here name( thin and had short dark kinda curly hair) was so friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was great and food was better. I loved it. Hope to be back soon.

Service was good. My friend had the open face turkey and loved it. Pulled pork that I ordered was a tad dry, but edible. I also ordered with no bbq sauce, but still don’t think it would have helped the pork. I will still eat there

Brandi was our waitress this evening. She is by far the best waitress we have ever had here. Very attentive and she communicated when there was a minor issue with one order. Food was good as well. We have had issues with service in the past, but tonight was exceptional. We will be asking for her section if she is working when we return! Thanks again, Brandi!

Reopened as the Tennessee River Grill, this popular restaurant is back under the ownership and operation of the original owners, Julie and Darrin Henry. Completely remodeled, the eatery resumed operation on July 12, 2017. The food is excellent, reasonably priced, and well prepared. The staff is terrific, friendly and cheerful, and very accommodating. The menu is extensive with appetizers, steaks, chicken, subs, sandwiches, burgers, specials, pizza, salad bar, and many other entrees and desserts. Always one of the areas most popular dining establishments (and my absolute favorite), I am delighted to have Darrin and Julie back. They have been missed by a lot of people in this area.

Food was decent. Less than stellar service, ambiance and representation. This is nothing more than a sports bar attached to a gas station.
The Tennessee River does, in fact, flow through this region, but miles from the Tennessee River Grill. In fact, the only thing flowing by is the steady stream of traffic on the highway outside which, coincidentally, is the only vista for their advertised “outdoor dining” area.
They have a nice salad bar, although it took 30 minutes to refill the Romaine lettuce. The salad dressings were good, had several prepared salads (potato, Cole slaw… ) and a good selection of toppings.
But lettuce is kinda important too…
They also got my entree wrong, and there was no attempt to make it right (adjust the bill, free dessert…?)
Again, the food tasted good, but for the price you’d expect a little more.

Very good food and excellent service. Ally (sp*) was our waitress and she was so sweet and helpful! We will definitely be back. Steaks were delicious and the bread pudding is a MUST try!

Walked in the door at five til nine, not knowing they were closing at nine.
They said it was not a problem and if I got in the door that they were open for us. How cool is that!?!
Fantastic people serving excellent food! The ribeye is one of the best steaks in the area. Flavorful enough and tender to eat it just as it’s served!

Best food in town! Stayed in Madisonville a few days. By far the best meal since we have been here. We went with a large party. Great selection on menu. Something for everyone. Large portions! Great Service Yum Yum!!
