Update to my previous 1-star review, turned 5-star and turned 1-star again… Absolutely abysmal fried rice. VERY DARK in color. Looked old and tasted old. Sadly this will be my last time eating (or attempting to) at this establishment. If they can’t be bothered to make fresh food, I can’t be bothered to be a patron. Food tastes like it was from yesterday.. Go to Cafe Asia, don’t waste your money. Picture was taken under a light btw.

Sushi was amazing!! Got the combo #2 and the rolls were good except the big roll that was hot with chicken stir fry in it. Not a fan at all. Wish they had a 5 or 6 roll combo that allowed to pick your rolls from a pre selected assortment.

Food was great, and the sushi was very fresh! Never been here before and I have lived in Roanoke for 10 years. Staff was friendly and service was on point. The place is very clean and so is the staff. Love the salt water tank when you walk in!

This place at first seemed promising due to the impressive menu, the reviews, and the newspaper article they posted on their windows. But unfortunately it was not what we were hoping. I got Shrimp Ja jiam mein which on the menu states is the most authentic noodle dish they serve. This dish was sad tiny shrimp, some tiny vegetables, a very mild sauce that was supposed to be spicy served with SPAGHETTI NOODLES. NOT a traditional Chinese noodle at all. The other disappointment we were served was Peking Duck, this dish was served not as a whole duck as you would imagine but a serving of shredded dry tasteless meat with some burnt unspiced skin layed on top. It was also supposed to have chinese pancakes served along side but instead it came with spanish style flour tortillas. I admit we got the half duck and this would have been a fine way to serve it if it had had flavor. This was a disgraceful portrayal of Chinese food and a very disappointing meal. We wil never return.

We were surprised when our food came to table in take out cartons and we ordered egg drop soup which we couldn’t eat because no spoons were provided! Very poor service, you apparently do not want customers to eat in the restaurant also pretty pricey, $60.00 for 2 dinners. Will not be back…

I’m only recently learning how to review on Google so this is long overdue but this place is amazing!! Especially recommend beef and broccoli extra spicy Szechuan style as a personal favorite but their sushi is very good too! I prefer ordering from the store directly for delivery rather than through delivery services like Doordash and Uber for extra quick/fresh/accurate service though.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in the area. The food is always hot and they are all very nice when ordering on the phone, delivering and/or dropping off. I usually get Chicken/Beef and broccoli, orange chicken or egg fu young. Definitely worth it.

Very weird experience in what used to be a favorite restaurant… you can dine in but you order up front now and then seat yourself. The food is brought to you in to go boxes. The hostess got drinks, soy sauce, etc for us. The food was good but not like it used to be. Not to mention expensive! We got two fried rice meals, two drinks and crab rangoons… it was $42. We don’t get to eat out much anymore and were disappointed in the whole experience.
