So we finally tried this place and it did not disappoint. Place is super nice and big, love the sitting area and the staff was friendly. A lot to choose from. We ended up getting some dim sum items and the kids felt like having soup. I would definitely be back, everything we tried today was delicious and prices weren’t bad. Fancy Chinese food, not bad at all.

We loved Szechuan House Mahopac! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our server Eva was so lovely and attentive as well. We will definitely be back! We recommend the drunken noodles, crystal shrimp dumplings, roast pork buns, and chrysanthemum bud tea.

The service and food here were phenomenal! This has to be one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in the area. Soup dumplings, dim sum and Peking Duck on the menu. Large bar area with multiple TV’s. Very reasonable prices. They are just getting started, but I hope they are successful, we will definitely return.

Our first time there. We came for the dim sum. We were disappointed they didn’t have the pork buns. However, the Wonton In Chili Oil, the San Xian Dumpling, and the golden buns were delicious. The Sweet & Chinese Vinegar Pork Ribs were out of this world. Jayden our waiter was a pleasure and very attentive. The atmosphere looked more like a sports bar, but it was clean and nice. Overall, we had a nice experience and everything tasted delicious. We’ll be back soon!!!

Staff was absolutely amazing. Attentive and fast. Spicy Chicken was perhaps the most perfectly fried chicken I’ve ever had. The sesame chicken however was pretty basic, I would expect it from a trashy Chinese takeout spot but not here.

Great addition to Mahopac! If you’re ordering from the szechuan menu, be aware that it’s spicy due to the traditional peppers that they use in those dishes
The portion sizes are HUGE and the quality is fresh. We got the
– Szechuan Twice Cooked Pork (4/5)
A little salty but overall very flavorful with a kick.
– Szechuan Boiled Spicy Beef Styel (4/5)
Very spicy broth style beef dish with tradition vegetables. Has a kick, a little greasy but good taste.
– Shrimp with Lobster Sauce (5/5)
very light and fresh!
– Mongolian Beef (5/5)
Classic Mongolian beef and a go to dish
– Pork Soup Dumpling (5/5) FAVORITE DISH the soup was delicious
– Cold Sesame Noodle (5/5) Spicy but flavorful dish, different than other spicy

Delicious food! We got the cheese wontons (tastes like crab rangoons), drunken noodles (the beef was so tender and veggies were crunchy), spicy fried chicken, and shumai. The waitress was very friendly. Took a little bit to get our appetizers but it’s expected since it’s a new restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Good option for szechuan in the area. Dan dan noodles were a little light on the pork and the sauce but overall good flavor and texture of the noodles. Twice cooked pork belly was also very well spiced and flavorful. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. The only bad part of my experience here was that all other tables got complimentary chips at their tables and we did not— but good service otherwise. Will definitely come again to try more of their dishes.

The food here was absolutely divine!!!! Everything was delicious, fresh, tasty and service was a delight. It’s an honor to have such an amazing establishment in town. Highly recommend the following: pork soup dumplings, chili wontons, rice noodles, spicy cucumber, Dan Dan noodles, kung pao chicken. They also have a happy hour and live music on certain days!

The best rew restaurant around. I order my dishes with “no spice” or “mild spice” and they are so accommodating. All the dishes without the extra heat are so tasty. Peking Duck and mushroom soup are the best! Hubby loves the dumplings and Hot and Sour. The drunken noodles are delicious. We try something new every time and are always amazed at the flavor sensations.
