We tried several Chinese dishes. There were some decent ones which were required to reserve in 2hr. American Chinese dishes are also available. All dishes tasted not bad but too salty for me. Some meats tasted a little hard. The beef soup was my favorite as an appetizer.
Pot stickers were burnt but kinda edible, they had a very thick wrapping and very little filling
In the Wor Won Ton soup, it consisted of Smoked ham/lunch meat and spinach(it really should’ve had bok choy or chinese cabbage and the bbq pork slices in stead of lunch meat squares, there were no carrots or water chestnuts) bland broth , no flavor, very misleading and the worst part, the won ton itself, I could’ve sworn they are supposed to have a filling, very disappointed.
Pork fried rice was bland and oily, more than the usual amount of oil on a fried rice dish
Triple delight sweet and sour: consists of 4 prawns. The manager tried to argue it was 6 pieces then retracted and corrected that it’s 4 prawns, some chicken and pork… mostly pork.
Orange chicken was burnt, black dried orange peel in dark not flavorful sauce, bland, burnt. There was no denying that you could smell something that was burnt from our seats.
kung pao chicken had spoiled ingredients ,I spit it out, and we left after that.
We argued with the manager but she demanded we pay for two dishes, we did but everyone was sick after eating at this place.
A couple days later,
being a Chinese food loving family,
we tried
2 guys from Hong Kong!
We were very happy and will always recommend them to everyone who visits Reno and wants delicious Chinese food!
I had the Hot & Sour soup, General’s chicken, fried rice, and “egg roll” which was actually a fried, cabbage-stuffed spring roll.
I found the food to be perfectly in line with any standard strip mall Chinese place.
