I ordered Kung Pao shrimp and egg drop soup.
The Kung Pao was spicy, thankfully the white rice toned it a little. The shrimp were large and cooked to an appropriate consistency.
The egg drop soup was hot and for once in a Chinese take-out, not destroyed by unnecessary scallions/green onions.
Both were hot when I got home; I actually had to wait for them to cool a little. Good thing.
The staff is friendly.

Grew up in the “burg” and my parents still live there. Definitely the best Chinese take-out spot in the neighborhood and one of the best ones, in my opinion, in the city. The food is consistent, fairly priced, arrives on time, and the order is always correct. Nothing “special” or “fancy” about the place/food – just your classic Chinese-American fare – but if you’re jonesing for those typical dishes like General Tso’s chicken, beef and broccoli, etc. this place will satisfy that fix.

For 7 years I lived around the corner from this place. I recently moved out of my parents house closer to my college in the city and I still to this day refuse to eat Chinese food anywhere else. My favorite is the pork fried rice and spare rib combo platter. For $10, they pack in a great amount a food and it just feels like it was made with love. I don’t know maybe it’s just me, but everyone ive put onto this place have loved it. I will not eat anywhere else.

But the only point I would like to bring to a future, potential customer….is this… Whether you choose to look at a handheld menu, or you look on line. Be careful of their prices! It GREATLY DIFFERS FROM WHAT YOU END UP PAYING! AND I’M GOING BY MY LAST 5 TIMES I’VE BEEN THERE. THE MENU CLEARLY STATES ONE PRICE, BUT YOU END UP PAYING $5 TO $6 DOLLARS MORE! AND I PICKED IT UP!! SO WHAT AND WHERE ARE THE EXTRA FEES?!?! AND I CHECKED…. IT’S A CURRENT MENU. SO THE PRICES SHOULD BE ON POINT. I KNOW EVERYTHING HAS, PRICE WISE, GONE UP. AND PEOPLE STILL PRICE GOUGE ON TOP OF THAT! BUT WHEN YOU HAVE A PRICE THAT IS CLEARLY GIVEN…. STICK TO IT. IT’S JUST GOOD BUSINESS, TO RUN A GOOD BUSINESS.

Food they make is AWESOME. The best food i had around here and they are pretty far from us and they ALWAYS deliver. So just have cash prepared and expect a journey . A culinary journey – FOOD is GREAT.
