Okay, so very mixed feelings on this one.
The presentation is BEAUTIFUL. The resturant itself is kind of nice, decorated well. Seemed very clean.
… a little depressing, but I can’t put my finger on why.
Although stunning, I would have to say that the food was alright, but perhaps not to my taste.
Service was meh.
Overall, I’m glad I tried it.
Addendum: After looking through other reviews, it appears that the owner is trying really hard to reply them.
Perhaps getting a little too defensive on bad reviews.

Amazing food. Great customer service. The dude was awesome. I ordered Mapo Tofu, and asked him if it was really spicy. He began to assure me that the spicy level can be adjusted, before I blurted out that I want it really spicy. I read that Mapo Tofu is a very spicy dish that’s so hot that it makes your mouth numb. So that’s what I wanted. He was so worried that I wouldn’t like it. He asked me to try it when he brought it out, just to make sure. It was so crazy spicy that my face went red and i started sweating, but it was exactly what I wanted and it was delicious. When i asked him about it, he said he made it hotter than normal, but that it could get hotter and some customers prefer that. So next time im going to try it at its hottest. Asside from the Mapo Tofu, everything else was also delicious. Best fried rice ive eaten. And the steamed buns were beyond my expectations. Everything was to be honest. The dude made sure we were all loving our food, he was so polite. Ugh. Such great food.

It’s my first time coming here. The waiter was friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations. They also have some secret menu. You need to ask them what’s the specialty for today. Some dish were a little bit salty but overall it tastes good. I saw lots of people come and pickup their meal instead of doing dine in.

My partner and I dined there last night. Pleasant experience; I was told that “this is real Chinese food”, not Chinese-American food. I sampled a couple of her dishes, unfortunately it was just too spicy for me. I stuck with my bland Orange Chicken. I was hoping was something a little more elaborate, for example, with sesame seeds or green onions as well. The prices were just fine. One of my plates was chipped. Finally, the old lady in the corner was wearing a Yankees hat and I thought there was gonna be some drama when she spotted me repping my Dodgers hat. Hey, it’s the West Coast! I might try this place again just to see if there’s something else I would be OK with. Very good and polite service!!!

Decent chinese food and are few options for vegetarians. The cost is a little higher and the eggplant tofu is good . The chicken was okay and the Scallion pancakes are just so tasty. Only issue is the flavor is not super and it was somewhat soggy.
Staff: 5/5 (personal attention to each customer)
Products: 4/5 (Decent products with good options)
Health: 3/5 (they don’t have too many healthy options)
Facility: 5/5 (clean and well organized)
Location: 5/5 (easy to get to with parking out front and they stay open took very late )

Just picked an order that I placed at 6:37 and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. My daughter and I get there at 6:55 and the full order isn’t ready, 2 of the 4 dishes are, ok fine, completely ok, obviously. They are very nice and ask us to have a seat and bring us a water to drink while we wait.
Nice.
10 minutes later they bring 2 cans of Coke and apologize for the wait. 20 minutes later and tired of waiting I approach the counter and ask how much longer, tonehich magically all of my food is sitting there waiting and getting cold.
He boxes up the roce I ordered and assures me the dishes are still warm. They are barely above room temp warm when I drive the 3 minutes home.
I orderd the House Spicy Chicken and apparently should have confirmed what was in it because I have yet to take a bit that does not include bones.
I won’t address the flavor of the 4 dishes, they are edible in that regard.
I won’t return and I will definitely not ever be able to justify how much money I just paid for dinner that took almost an hour to get and may or may not break a tooth on tonight.
Editing to add a photo of the pile of bones that I have had to discard from my House Spicy Chicken.

Very unique dining experience and super authentic meals, though I’ll admit I’m not an expert on this type of cuisine, and only have limited general knowledge from traveling through Asia for a while. That said the meal was delicious, I tried the house chicken in chili paste which was incredibly flavorful and spicy! Loved eating all the bits of meat right off the bones where the flavor resides just hoping they get some duck and other items back in stock soon, so there selections expanded again

Highly recommend the tea smoked duck, crispy with lots of flavor and good for sharing! Also ordered the dan dan noodles and rice sesame ball soup for dessert.
