The service was excellent and food was perfect. A great spot to hit if you are passing through or visiting! The portions are big, enjoyed the leftovers. Side salad did not make it to the pictures but was fresh and delicious too!

It was my first time coming here and it was surprisingly very quiet on a Saturday evening, but it took a bit to get a table. Got the chicken souvlaki and it was very good. Large portions, both of us ended up taking half to go 🙂 The waitress was very sweet!

Greek food is one of our favorite cuisines and we’ve tried many greek restaurants in.all three west coast states. The most delicious Greek food we’ve ever tasted is at Syros Greek and Italian Restaurant in Lynden, WA. It is only second to the food at a California Greek festical. We were also so impressed with the abundant portions and reasonable prices. The Greek salad was so good and loaded with feta cheese. The chicken gyros and souvlaki were amazing and the amount of lean meat wowed us. We also greatly appreciated that it was seasoned to perfection and not over-salted. The server, James, who is also the manager and even their part-time chef, gave us impeccable service. As a former restaurant manager it was greatly appreciated and refreshing. Jame’s recommendations were on-spot. He was personable, professional, and efficient. Even though we live a bit aways from Lynden it’s worth the trip. This is our new go to Greek Resaurant. SO YUM!

$17 for 5 chicken wings is wild. I will not be ordering those again. The baked spaghetti was ok.

This was our fourth visit since the change in ownership. The first time was not that great. We each ordered a Greek salad (full size), but were served what looked like a side dinner salad – for $17. We were also served Olive Garden style bread sticks.

We decided to give it one more. This time (and two more subsequent times) we had the pleasure of having Cameron as our server. Suddenly the salad size is a true full size and the bread sticks changed into real garlic bread. She’s also attentive, efficient and pleasant.

OK, here we go. The salad…you could see the lettuce and cukes looked like they froze in the frig and was so soggy. The blue cheese dressing was good. It was served on a B&B plate, too small. The fried mushrooms were good. The lasagna was curly noodles with meat sauce (not bad) and melted cheese – no ricotta – not lasagna. The meatballs, “unbelievably horrible and can be used as a major league baseball.” The garlic bread was fine. The cheeseburger was salty charcoal – again soggy lettuce. The flavor profile is to much salt and garlic. I guess what really gets me is you see what you are putting out there and serve it anyway. I hope this helps y’all get it together.

Service was good!
Ordered the chicken and mushroom fettuccine with a caesar salad to go. For the most part I would place the food in the “good” column. But not great, and definitely not superior, and that’s unfortunate because the price point is “superior”. Yes you get a huge portion and if you were sharing this huge portion you’d be getting a better value for sure but for one person it’s over priced for the quality.
It’s more greasy than creamy and desperately needed salt. Whether it be on the chicken or salting the pasta water, it was very clearly the missing ingredient. The Caesar salad was great, but could use some lemon, needed a little acidity for balance.
At its current state I would say it’s a 3.5 but a couple minor changes and it could easily be a 5, hence the 4. I’ll probably be back but likely not unless it’s a special occasion where I can justify spending over $30 per person (after tip).

While our server was friendly, the service was slow overall. The front-of-house staff was less welcoming; it felt as though we were inconveniencing them.

Regarding the food, the tomato sauce on the pizza was very salty (which was disappointing as it was for the kids). Some of the seasoning was overpowering, and the use of garlic was intense—even for a garlic lover. While some components of the dishes were fine, others were hard to eat. That said, the fries were very good.

I heard Syros has new owners and that the food was going to stay the same. I tried takeout tonight and ordered my favorites, the calamari appetizer & a small Greek salad. The total was $36.00 (which seemed like alot to me!!) I arrived within 20 minutes of ordering. The calamari portion was small and had no flavor, it was in a plastic container & was already soggy. The tzatziki sauce was not good either & was a very small portion. I should have taken a picture of the greek salad, it was mostly lettuce, had no cucumber or tomato that I could tell & cost $13ish, it did have some onion and one olive…very disappointing! Syros has been a favorite place for me for many years but sadly I will not be back.

First let’s start with the lie that the old owners stopped doing Lamb souvlaki 20 year ago. Not true. They stopped right around 2020. Used to get it all the time and it was amazing. I’ve been abut 4-5 times since they got new owners. The new owners do have fresher salads/lettuce, that’s about it tho, the greek salad is as dry as they get, just chopped veggies with feta. It’s started going down hill near the end of old ownership, we all knew it, but sadly, it didn’t improve with new owners. The food is so bland, you night as well eat plain noodles and boiled chicken. My son loves it, but to be fair, my son hates all sauces and only eats plain everything.
