Symposium is exactly how a Sunday ought to start — Bloody Mary in hand, wondering why you don’t do this more often. They’ve got the best Bloody in town, no question. It’s bold, it’s balanced, and it fixes whatever mess Saturday left behind.

Brunch here is excellent, full stop. Real food, cooked by people who clearly care, not some “look at me” Instagram nonsense. And the sausage gravy? I’d put that stuff on my last meal request. It’s rich, it’s ridiculous, and it’ll ruin all other gravy for you.

The staff is great — friendly without being fake, quick without rushing you, and they somehow keep the place running smooth while you’re sitting there pretending this is the only responsibility you have today.

Here’s the thing I love: you can get a swanky glass of wine if you’re feeling fancy… or you can grab a Coors and mind your business. No judgment either way.

Symposium is one of those places that makes you sit back, relax, and think, Yeah… this is exactly where I’m supposed to be today. If your Sunday needs a reset button — or an excuse to stretch brunch into “early evening” — this is the place.

We had such a fantastic date night here. We had a small cheese and charcuterie board, the meatballs, crab cakes, and short rib ragu pasta. Our favorite was the meatballs and charcuterie but all of the dishes were great. The wine had a large selection. I also did the sparkling flight which was fantastic. I did want to mention the service, it was the best service we have had at a restaurant in a long time. We will be coming back!

Symposium Wine Bar is a great addition to the recently revitalized area of W. Main St. in the Village of Lancaster. They have an extensive list of wines from regions around the world. You may pay a little extra for a glass of wine (compared to some places), but its due to the quality and generous pour sizes. We were not disappointed.

Service was great, the atmosphere is cool and trendy. We did not grab a bite this visit, but did note various food offerings. There was a small party in the rear of the facility when were were there (good to know for a special occasion). It’s a great place to go to relax and spark up a conversations.

The only thing preventing this from a 5 star rating (in my opinion) is the noise level. If they could find a way to dampen the acoustics it would make for an even better experience. Dimming the upper lights as well could enhance to the overall ambiance too.

There is a nice room in the back for a group to hang out (8 people +/-). Anymore intimate setting.

We are already looking forward to returning again! Certainly worthy of a stop!

Bonus: They have a fantastic Expresso Martini.

Fantastic place for fleets of wine. Wine tasting. Food was okay but the service was amazing. Again the waitress went above and beyond to accommodate a pleasant experience. Gluten-free options are available. Thursday is half off the cheese platter, Would like to go back to try that.

Food: 1/5 we were there briefly so only got “foccia” and “house made” oil to go with some wine flights. It was literally vegetable oil with spices in it served with toasted wonder bread disappointed bc you’d think a wine bar would prioritize this. Wine was good but offensively over priced. A $16 glass of wine is $21 for the bottle

Service: our waitress was lovely

Atmosphere: potential but had bright white fluorescent lights at 10pm… not a great atmosphere to go to for an evening drink

Did anyone say flights…wine that is…a great little wine bar in Lancaster that has an outdoor hidden patio. Amazing wine and food. A nice little gem in our Village. Highly recommend and we will definitely return. Great wine, beer and food menu. The Flatbread pizza was fantastic!
