2 members had the Thracian & Souvlaki chicken combo. The portion was too big for either too handle. I had the lamb chops. Everything cooked as ordered (temp). Flavors were wonderful. The server seemed “not happy”, but still maintained good service. For s large as the building seems, the dining area is limited. The pop/soda I ordered seemed to lack the syrup for flavor. Prices above average, but not high. Although the quality of the ingredients is high as well.
The baklava (order by two) was so amazing that I came back the next day to order more for the rest of the family!

This place is everything you want in a Greek restaurant. Clean, fast, delicious, authentic, friendly, reasonable…….. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. Seems like I’m not the only one that feels this way either because the parking lot was packed on a Thursday for lunch and apparently they have been there for 40 years! Go here and eat Greek food, you will not be sorry.

As I stated in my previous reviews..my fianceé and myself travel 2 hrs to come here. I have been dinning with them since they were on Burrstone road…since the 80’s. And the food….is just as amazing as one of a kind, as it was then . Id wager one would have to go to Therace to get an equal…and even then…maybe..
One thing I do wonder, and it amazes us..when ya walk in ya can’t tell it’s a restaurant…it smells like the rectory used to at the old St.Peter’s & Paul’s church in Frankfort…(They tore it down )..but the second ya walk into the dinning area..you know where ya are…it’s amazing they SEPERATE the air so efficiently…in short eat something ya can’t pronounce…ya won’t be sorry. I promise. Happy holidays to all family and crew at Symeon’s. Thanks for 30+ wonderful years…

Went with my coworkers on a recommendation from friends. We were not disappointed.
Service was awesome. Our waitress had helpful suggestions, she was super friendly, and she treated us like family.
We shared multiple appetizers, entrés and desserts. Everything was delicious. I don’t have an opportunity to get Greek food where I live, but I wish we had a Symeon’s in Idaho. Can’t wait to swing by on my next visit!

Every time we go to Symeons for dine in or takeout it is fantastic! The staff are always cheerful, friendly, and right on top of service. The atmosphere is comfortable, intimate, and family friendly. The food comes out quickly, efficiently, and perfect temperature. They are always dependable and consistent. Highly recommend!

Rest in God’s warm embrace Symeon Sr. May you, Ann, and Regina finally be reunited. We will miss you forever. For your kindness, patience, leadership and support. For your unwavering personal integrity. My brother still tells stories of Symeon helping him wash dishes in a suit and tie on a very busy day so many years ago I can’t remember the year. To have people paid so little remember you with such unwavering reverence is a testament to your spirit that will outlive any granite carved monument. The world is a far lesser place without you.

Things seem to be slipping at this long term restaurant that was once a guarantee of delicious food and great service.
The orders were confused and two had to go back to the kitchen to provide for what had been ordered. Some of the food items were not as nicely prepared as in the past. the grape leaves were really mushy and almost gelatinous. We ordered both cold and hot, and both were the same unpleasant texture. Perhaps they were a little old? The meat, and my case lamb, seemed tougher than usual and the tzatziki was really unpleasant. Gray in color and of a very odd flavor. Service was OK, but the server seemed to be struggling. Anyway, there was a measure of disappointment with this visit.

I had a Gyro add feta and Clam chowder. Both were delicious. At first I was a little put off by how little sauce they used but the meat had plenty of flavor and I respect the choice to not mask that flavor with the sauce. I can be picky with my clam chowders but these guys have done a pretty good job with it. Very chunky and creamy. A little on the thin side for a chowder but the flavor hits perfect. I am definitely planning to visit this place plenty more times. Oh and I wish I could give extra stars for the atmoshpere and service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive and the it all gave the place such a comfortable feel. I was alone but they seemed like they would be a perfect place to bring the whole family.

Great place for a ladies lunch and catch up. We had a terrific waitress who offered suggestions, and knew to share the dessert with 4 forks!!! All the food selections were great!

Me and my family have been getting their dinners to go and eating in for years. I have never had a single problem with their services. The food is always great, the waiters and hosts always friendly. Sometimes, the wait time may be long, and for some people on a budget, some food items may be pricey but not bad for a good restaurant. And another good thing is that they support other local places by putting flyers up.
