Intown visiting from carolina. Wanted to try something different and new. This was on point, food was delicious, chicken was banging, cabbage was cooked with perfection, and you can’t leave out that rice and gravy. Everything was delicious and good if you ever in town you have to stop here and the chicken fresh off The grill

The ribs were delicious. They had great flavor and the portions were generous. Thank you! It has space to park the car and the proteins they prepare are barrel-cooked.

Delicious jerk chicken, greens, and fried plantain. Authentic, no frills ambiance, and good vibes. Loved eating next to the smokers

It’s always the small little spots that have some of the best food. I would drive by this place so many times and see the smoker going which caught my attention. I finally tried this Jamaican spot today. I’m so glad I did. It was excellent! I tried their jerk chicken and it was delicious! Especially their spicy jerk sauce! The rice, peas and their plantains were on point too! I can’t wait to go back and try their other entrees. If you love Jamaican food. Hit them up!

Sylvia’s was overall a nice experience. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I ordered a Fried Porkchop lunch, with Rice and Peas, and Steamed Cabbage. I also ordered a side of Collard Greens. The Pork Chop was fried perfectly, maintaining its moisture and tenderness, and it was nicely seasoned. It was a thin cut and so good that I wished there were two. But, I had ordered the lunch sized plate. Next time it will be a dinner plate with two! The cabbage was good but, for my personal preference it had a lot going on with added red peppers and herbs/seasonings. I loved the texture but, prefer just salt and pepper. The Collard Greens were good, though of the healthier cooked version, meaning sans fat and oil. The rice was very good. Portions were great for the $6.99 lunch price. The side of Collard Greens was $2.99. It is very hard these days to find a side order of anything under $5, especially for the quantity given. That all being said, I would still glady return and try other menu items. I have a feeling the BBQ is delicious!

Some of the best jerk chicken i have ever tried. I was driving by and saw a sign that said $6.99 lunch special and a smoke coming out the big grills in the front of the store and i decided to stop. Thankfully i did because it was the best jamaican food i have ever had in South Florida and you really cant beat the pricing.
