Friends, I have to admit, I did not expect this! I never imagined I’d eat such a delicious burger, with meat that literally melts in your mouth. I mean, this place is pretty old-school, and I never thought they’d cook like this. I expected tough, typical burger joint meat—but I was blown away. The veggies were fresh, but what really surprised me? Those buns! They soak up just a bit of the juicy goodness—absolute perfection. I honestly didn’t think I’d eat this well. Huge thanks to the owner and creator of this restaurant—seriously, you are amazing. California needs more places like this. And yes, the burger was $24—but hey, it’s not the end of the world! With tax and a tip, it’s fine—because the experience was simply perfect. Thank you so much for cooking so deliciously!

This evening we came from Cayucos as I was encouraged from a family friend while we are on vacation to get a free burger for my birthday.
We got here and we were met by Haley at rhe cash register, she was super friendly and encouraged us to join the VIP Club so we can all get free burgers. Hailey handed us a menu, gave us a big welcoming smile and answered our questions. Hailey told us about the specials and to check our emails for monthly specials.
I highly recommend this burger joint. It was delicious!

Sylvester’s in Los Osos is my favorite Burger/Hot Dog spot. The crew is always so nice and I watch them really help out seniors and it’s nice to see them take care of the community. The Sly Street Dog is the best tasting Hot Dog I have ever eaten. The Garlic Fries are a must have. And both the black and bleu burger and the buffalo bleu burger (the ladder is made with buffalo meat) are top notch burgers that I honestly think could win some competitions. I love Sylvester’s and if you’re reading this review, I strongly urge you to go.

Decent place to get some burgers. They have 3 locations and we visited the Los Osos place. The burgers are pricey but they taste good. We also got some free fries on Friday. The place was not busy at all. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Check it out of you are in town.

We have been here several times and the food and service is consistently good.
The garlic fries have a little too much garlic on them IMO.
The deep fried mushrooms are delicious, but they were out of them the last time we went.
They have outdoor seating which is nice since we take our dog with us a lot of the time.

This place has been in Los Osos for decades and its so good! Burgers are delicious, so many different choices. Fries are good. It’s the perfect beach bum place to eat and have a good time.

The Desperado burger, bowl style, was a big, deleicious, and mostly healthy meal. It was a little hard to hear the ticket numbers and one of our party members got their food much later, which suggested there wad a communication problem. But the food was enjoyable and it was worth the visit.

It’s just an average frozen bland burger with a high price point. The buttery toasted bread was the highlight. Produce was very fresh. I guess we are burger snobs, lol. Staff were upbeat and friendly. Patio needs a good de-webbing and pest service.

Sylvester is still a good place to grab a burger, however their prices has increased greatly over the years. Paid almost $20 for just a bacon cheeseburger alone. No sides or drinks. As a local I used to come here all the time but their prices has driven me away from this place. Service seems also has gone downhill. Plus they’ll add a service charge even the kid up front didn’t even know about! Sorry Sylvesters, probably wont be back anytime soon

Great burgers. Definitely a break from the dull fast food places. Pricing is a little deceptive if you’re looking at the website. The website price is for a small burger then they upcharge for bigger patties. Paso Robles closes at 8 during the winter. I get the black and blue and they pile on the blue cheese. Chowder fries had huge chunks of clam. Sylvester’s Sauce goes well with everything, don’t forget to ask for extra.
