Decided to get seafood. Ordered the Tandoori prawn which was great as an entree with large prawns.
Vegetable Shahi korma which was very tasty. Also ordered the Prawn Malabari and
Prawn tika masala. Garlic naan and Cheese naan. The food was all good quality with good sized prawns and very tasty. Highly recommend. I will be back to try the meat dishes next time.

The food is cooked absolutely perfectly and taste is spot on.

One of the better Indian restaurants in Sydney with an extensive menu. Its also one of the few restaurant kitchens you can find in the St George & Shire area that still takes sit in dinner tables and orders after 9pm on Sat night. The curries and sauces in the mains are flavourful and complex (better than the restaurants in Harris Park) and the naans are fresh. The only minor gripe for lovers of dhosa is they don’t offer dhosa on the menu.

Let me begin by just saying I’ve had my fair share of Indian food from the stuff at malls, to restaurants, and even had it when I used to live overseas.
The food was exemplary, the butter chicken and tandoori chicken were some of the best I’ve ever had. The flavour was incredible, the chicken was soft and moist and cooked perfectly, as well as the naan being absolutely delightful.
The staff were very friendly, and were hospitable with me requesting some extra items on my pickup order. They even gave me some complimentary sambosa and they were so good and buttery. Service was delightful and while it took about 20 minutes for the food to come out I was happy to wait on a couch they’d had waiting for me (which was really clean and comfy)
The atmosphere of the restaurant was so lovely as well!!! The music was loud but as soon as id walked in the hostess turned it down to a manageable volume, which was something I’ve ever rarely seen in some other restaurants lol. The interior design was beautifully ornate and I think I will be dining in next time.

We are seeking to find the next best place, that fabulous unknown gem, just waiting to be discovered. You never think that your local Indian restaurant is going to be that fabulous gem, but here I am writing about it.
Sylvania Indian Restaurant, what a star to find on an odd quick choice decision. If your in the Sutherland area near Tom Uglies Bridge, than your on track to experience a fantastic menu of Indian delights
The vegetarian platter was delicious the home made pickles spicy and full of flavour.
The mains were amazing, the lamb madras and the Desi chicken on the bone full of spice and flavour, the naan crispy and light the rice was fluffy and white.
This is a must do restaurant for those lovers of spice, The ladies serving us were delightful and helpful, take the time to talk to them as it’s quite a diverse menu, one sitting would never be enough.
Take the time to at the very least, try this delightful little gem, my only shirt fall is the noise level – a rug in the middle of the restaurant would assist – whilst the service was very good, a little attention to detail, like ice in drinks etc needs a little adjustment.

We ordered veggie biryani today (medium spice as usual) but it came way too spicy . We tried to manage but nope, couldn’t survive lol. I called the restaurant around 9pm and Sakshi picked up — and omg she was amazing. Super kind, great customer service, immediately apologized and sent a replacement. She even called back to let me know the driver was on the way ✨. Really appreciate her patience and how she made sure we actually got to enjoy our food. Big shoutout to Sakshi for being an absolute gem

Loved the aloo tikki chat and the butter chicken was simply amazing so subtle flavours ! The quality of chicken was fresh and soft ! The naan bread that came along was so soft and not very rubbery !
It was a 10/10. Portion size was perfect for 2 naan breads.
When I ate here last night I understood that I have been eating from so many wrong places before.
I’m gonna try everything out of that menu within next 6 months ❤️
