We’re Sycamore Drive In, and we’ve been an ice cream shop in Monticello, IN, since 2005. We offer a wide selection of specials, including taco Tuesdays, soup and salad Wednesdays, and meatball Thursdays! We provide various soft pretzels, walking tacos, smoothies, lemon shake-ups, and other favorites that are sure to satisfy. We offer an iced coffee bar, apple pie delight, and apple cider slushy. Poor service. I was by myself and had a larger order with two entrees and three desserts, and I asked for them to go. First, they give me the deserts with no lids. When I asked for a lid, they gave me two lids with giant holes in the middle that didn’t even fit. He then brings me one lid for my dessert that I requested in the first place, but for some reason doesn’t bring me a second one. I then had to ask for a bag to carry it all myself. The girl at the register was an example of poor customer service, asking “is that it?” before I could finish my order.
The worst part is the adults were host standing in the back doing nothing to help.
For spending $49, this was a very our experience and shows no care for the customer experience.

Came back the next night, at 8:58 no less, and they had a long line. I feel for that staff. The same girl from the night before provided great service, and clarified what I meant by “to go”. That’s what has always kept us coming back, and still will. Good luck with this DT line at 9 PM

Delicious, creamy, and smooth soft serve here. Always such a delicious treat to get after sport games or any after-school activities. Very cheap and reasonable price, and short waiting time. Very sweet and friendly staff! If you’re looking for a nice treat, this is the best place in Monticello.

Stop on our way back from semi-state softball game. Monticello Sycamore Drive In. Food is great. Ice cream was wonderful. Everyone had a smile and were friendly. And it was a half hour from closing. Great people.
