We just loved this establishment from top to bottom. Upon driving up, there’s a plethora of muscle cars in the parking lot. Once inside on this Sunday afternoon, we were greeted with Hi & welcome, sit anyplace you like; (I believe may have been the owner ). Our waiter came over quickly asking about our beverages & left us with a couple of interesting menus with food that would cater to just about anyone’s needs.
Our strawberry milk shake was yummy, the curly fries were done to perfection & the cauliflower bites were just perfect, from the evenly sized bites to the tenderness of doneness, with or without the dipping sauce!!!

Such a fun spot! Yes, Drive-Ins still exist
One pulls up and flashes the car lights and someone comes for your order. We, however, ate inside at the counter. Service was defiantly and fast. The Dagwood Burger was outstanding, as were the fries.
Spend some time looking around at all the articles about the place. Like a little museum!

Absolutely LOVE this place. Great for families. Unique thin burgers(get a double). Thick milk shakes. Delicious homemade root beer and floats so full of ice cream! Great value. Service is very nice. Worth the drive.

If like old fashioned diner experience this must visit place. Even place has long history tag to it the stuff is young and super attentive! And if like bit fun or in a rush you flash your vehicle lights so that server will come to you not just take the order but personally deliver to you so that enjoy meal without stepping out . We of-course wanted check inside and easily found seating. Food was very good and was served hot. They also server sandwiches with options of bread types

While the food was good, the burger is bigger at White Castle. I expected a full size burger for the price. I ordered curly fries with my patty melt and got curly fry bits. Needed a fork to eat them like that. Service was very good considering about 50 of us walked in at one time. Atmospheres gives you an old throwback feel. Lots of cool stuff on the walls to look at.

Having grown up and lived in Bethel and Danbury all my life, I spent many of Saturday nights here at the car shows and would always get a clam basket as it’s easy to walk around with. Today, I decided to stop in for lunch while visiting the area.
Dagwood Burger – a traditional staple that’s been synonymous when it comes to the Sycamore Diner. Cooked perfect and filled to the brim with toppings which is lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup and mayo.
They had a special today which came with fries and they were golden brown with a nice crunch to them.
Service- I’ve known the family since we were kids as I was always here visiting Mr Gene Austin. Kathy and Pat are doing a remarkable job keeping it going and providing service with a smile. Very attentive with asking if anything is needed.
Plenty of parking as it’s during the week in the middle when it’s slower.

Classical diner experience from 50s 60s with great comfort food. Their old style burgers are delicious. Whenever I go there, I can’t help myself ordering another one, then another one. Also they make their own root beer, which is delicious.

We were excited to try it here. When we saw the menu we were shocked to see there was no kids section, for a family diner we found that odd. The waiter did not know how to answer questions about the food on the menu. The “large” sweet potato fries looked like they were a small and served on a very small plate. The “streak burger” was as thin as two sheets of paper at best. Not a thrilling experience and will not be going back. Don’t recommend.

Passing through town and found this gem. Food was fantastic, service was fantastic and the atmosphere brought me to another world. Thanks Patrick… will be back, this time with my father too.

This place is an hour away from me, but it was worth the trip!
It manages to recreate the best parts of the past while providing speedy service and delicious food.
The milkshakes are perfection! They are real and exactly what you should get at other places (instead of mostly milk).
Everything fried is done so very lightly, so it tastes both healthy and delicious!
We did not try car service, but may in the future.
If this place was closer to my house, I’d be here all the time!
