We’ve been here after hiking in the summer and while skiing in the winter. The food and service are always fantastic. The black bean burger is our favorite, but also really like the cauliflower app (when it’s available) and the salmon sandwich.

Food was great, service was excellent, and the views were unforgettable. They were very accommodating, and the drinks were the perfect way to wrap up this trip, especially the mulled wine. Glad we stopped by for lunch after the canopy tour (zip-lining).

Reservations!! Make them! It’s a great place to grab a really nice lunch and a drink while skiing at Bretton Woods. Kid friendly for sure. Bar looks great, but we sat at a regular table. Food is excellent (Omni Mt Washington) and beer is cold. Took the family for lunch while hitting the slopes for spring skiing. Would highly recommend-and have been coming here for years. They are still figuring out how to use Open Table, and I would suggest reservations (packed on a Tuesday in March) but otherwise great.

My vegan Caesar salad was good but not sure if market it as a Caesar. Nothing like one but still delicious.
Service was excellent. Greg was very attentive and rang everyone up separately.
A little pricey, but honestly not a lot more than the base lodge and MUCH better quality.
Cloudy but I would imagine the views on a clear day are amazing.

Such spectacular views in an upscale ski lodge feel. Casual food in a beautiful setting. You do not need to ski or snowboard to be able to visit the grill, but there is a $28 gondola ride per person to visit.

Seating is first-come first-served, so there may be a wait. Also, the menu isn’t super extensive, as everything you can order has to be hauled up to the top of the moubtain. It’s a great lunch spot though, with beautiful views, tasty food, and good service.

Wonderful setting for lunch or dinner. Located at the top of the Gondola ride on Breton Woods Resort. The views are timeless and peaceful. Our server Jordan knew the answers to our questions and offer additional tips. We went up for lunch and had a great meal and drinks for under $75.

In July, we went to New Hampshire to take in all the nature. During our trip, we went to a restaurant with a spectacular view. The Switchback Grille is located high atop the mountain slopes of Bretton Woods. To get there, you get to take a scenic Gondola ride, which was really fun! I can see people getting up there during the summer for hiking and nature walks, and during the winter for ski and other winter activities.
The restaurant is located right where you get off the Gondola on the top of the mountain. The window doors facing the gorgeous view was all open, with a handful or so of table seatings. If you want to soak up the view while dining, it is the place to be. They do have a large indoor dining area as well, where you can still enjoy the view of the mountain.
We were there for Sunday Brunch, and they have a special Sunday Brunch menu. We got a Mimosa Flight. Three small fruity mimosas come in the order. One with strawberry, one with blueberry, and one with blackberry. One was better than the other, up to your preference, really.
We decided to share Watermelon Salad. They brought the salad, pre-divided for us, which made it super easy to share, which was awesome! It was really good, watermelon was perfectly ripe, veggies were super fresh, it was delicious!
For main, one of us had Seasonal Salad with Chicken. The chicken was a nice large piece, and grilled well. I had Brunch Burger, came with fries and a pickle. The egg was cooked to perfection, with runny yolk, just the way I like. The beef patty was juicy and satisfying, and overall, it was a pretty big burger. The fries were nice too. My hubby chose Egg Sandwich. The sandwich was big! It was meaty and with a good amount of moist eggs, fluffy ciabatta…quite good! They were all very filling.
We had a nice brunch here. Everything was fresh, tasty, and the portion was nice and big. The service was polite and friendly. We were well taken care of. If you are in the area, and want to have a nice brunch with a gorgeous view of the mountains, hop on the gondola and head over to the Switchback Grille! You can do a nice hike after the meal to walk off the calories and get some exercise as well.

Ride the gondola to the top where Switchback Grille is located. The best part is the breathtaking view as it overlooks the resort and cottages below. Only complaint is the menu is limited but the wait isn’t long and the food is good. I had to order the poutine but the gravy was salty. The beets salad is delicious, but my favorite was the Chili soup and it was the soup of the day and not a regular menu item. Kids menu available with crayons to color and so the games printed on the menu.
