I had a weekend trip to Charleston. Hubby chose this place for lunch, Swig & Swine BBQ. Our server was Liz, extremely pleasant and 100% on her game. The portions are a good size, more than I expected. The food was great. Friendly staff.

Drove to Charleston from Savannah today and stopped at Swig & Swine. Greeted immediately by Millie who gave us 5 star service and made us feel like we came on over for a nice lunch. Pulled Pork Sandwich with slaw and baked beans with brisket, and Bloody Marys (Best of the Trip!!!). Service, Food, and a welcoming, clean and well run restaurant. Make sure you ask for Millie.. Make sure you stop by Swig & Swine!!

We drive past when heading to the hospital. We were looking at another spot for lunch. So glad we chose to get lunch here. Food was amazing everything we had was great. The hot honey with the pork puppies has a kick! We’ve already decided our next trip up there we’re bringing a family meal home. However I dont know if it will make the 2.5 hour trip home.

I came up here from Florida from my 30th birthday and I had some of the best barbecue that I’ve ever had. All of the food was phenomenal but the stars were Nutter butter pie, the brisket, and the corn pudding.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! We had it for the first time and raved about it. We went and tried another location a few days later. Service was great at both. Price point is wonderful for the amount and quality of the food. They also have unbelievable specials. We even bought food to take home. Highly recommend! This is a MUST if you like BBQ.

Pork Rinds with Pimento Cheese
These things we’re still crackling when they got to our table. They were so fresh and delicious! The pimento was great as well.
Entree:
I had the 3 meat tray. I ordered the smoked pork belly, brisket, and ribs. The sides were mac and cheese and hash and rice! Everything had great smokey flavor and was tender. My favorite was the smoked pork belly! The hash and rice was very interesting! They used their pulled pork, blended it up a bit, and used one of their sauces and put it over rice.
I also got to try the smoked turkey and collards, thanks to Megan.
Everything was really good, and our server was very informative. He gave us great recommendations. The atmosphere was fun, too.

I love BBQ, I have literally flown to Texas and Kansas City for a day just to get BBQ. Each BBQ place has their amazing items and the items that aren’t so good, but this place was loved by everyone and everything we had was delicious. It is my family’s top BBQ joint. If we ever go back to SC we will definitely go back.

We were staying close by but didn’t have time to dine in, so we got take out. It was amazing! The portion sizes for ours were insane. It was so much food. They have a ton of sauces that all added a unique flavor. Really like the jalapeño one. We got pulled pork, spicy chicken sandwich, beans and brisket, and corn pudding. I recommend each one of them. You really can’t go wrong. Don’t forget to get the Banana Pudding for dessert! It’s perfect. Oh, and the staff was super kind and welcoming. We will definitely dine in next time we are in the area.

We have came in a few times and had the pleasure of having Milli as our server a couple of those visits — she’s fabulous. We always look forward to seeing her. She had an amazing personality, great recommendations, and makes you feel right at home.
The food is delicious and always comes out hot. This has become one of our favorite spots.
