The Highlights:
• The Vibe: As a huge fan of the show Palm Royale, I absolutely loved the aesthetic here. It captures that iconic, glamorous vibe perfectly. It was a treat to see the hotel.
• The Experience: It’s a “once-in-a-lifetime” type of atmosphere that feels very exclusive.
Things to Consider:
• The Layout: The tables are very, very close together right by the pool. We lucked out with the weather not being too hot, but it is a tight squeeze.
• Service Hiccup: Toward the end of our meal, a server moved our umbrella to another table without asking. I ended up baking in the sun while waiting for the check and actually had to stand up to get some relief.
• The Value: Be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. While the food is good, you are definitely paying a premium for the location and the “scene.”
Final Verdict: I’m glad we went for the experience—you only live once! However, because of the high price point for standard brunch fare and the service slip-up, I probably won’t be a returning customer.
Unfortunately it went down hill from there, the workers were not really engaging past the hostess. Almost like they knew the food wasn’t going to live up to our expectations.
For example, I had to pay $24 extra to add chicken to my pasta and I was expecting it to be a chicken thigh or at least marinated. Nope, looks like pre cooked Costco chicken. Honestly I was embarrassed.
My sister ordered the fish and chips and it looked good but was incredibly wet and flavorless. The only good dish was my boyfriend’s fish sandwich.
Just for the price and the atmosphere I was expecting a more elevated dining experience. What we got was borderline hospital cafeteria food.
You can dine inside or out for a beautiful view of the pool. There is a wonderful little poolside bar.
Live music outdoors ! Can’t say enough great things about it .. although I didn’t stay. I will definitely plan to have a hotel stay next time.
Beautiful place to see and be seen, but food is so much overpriced. Avocado toast real value $12 and they charge $29; green juice they did not even squeeze, it was from a plastic bottle. Would not recommend.
