QUALITY OF SERVICE AND FOOD WAS WONDERFUL
HOWEVER
We stopped to grab some burgers and it seemed like a great spot for it. The sides were fantastic and the food was fresh and warm, the wait was totally reasonable. But their beef has an almost candy-like sweetness to it that, while not bad, is NOT what you’d expect from a burger at all. It was weird and I would’ve just liked a warning.

Drive-in burger spot that still feels old-school in a good way. The Galley Boy burger is messy, sweet-salty, and surprisingly addictive. Carhop service moves fast, and the whole experience feels nostalgic without being staged. Simple food that just hits.

Super cute place, amazing workers – but – the food was just sadly not great. I ordered the veggie burger which looked like any veggie burger anywhere. This had actual pieces of vegetables all in it..with a odd roasted pepper aftertaste I couldn’t tolerate. I then ordered a small regular burger and the meat had a sausage kind of flavor and the cheese tasted like Kraft singles. The fries were all I could do..even the brownie tasted like a large version of the Little Debbie snack brownies. We are out of town and were so excited by this unique establishment..the food disappointed to an unexpected degree though.

This location is newer and has great customer service. They were quick, friendly, and informative. We ordered:
1. The Galley Burger – it was prepared well. However, I feel like the burger needed seasoning. I didn’t love the two sauces and don’t think they paired well. Overall, the burger wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t order again. (3/5 )
2. Fries – these were prepared well but needed a little more seasoning. (3.5/5 )
3. Onion rings – these were tasty and paired well with a side ranch dipping sauce. Be sure to order the side ranch.
4. Bologna sandwich – this is thick bologna and needed more of a sear. This also came with onions and mustard (must be an Akron thing). (3/5 )
I would visit again and try some different dishes.

Today was the first day I’d heard of Swenson’s and they’ve been here since August of last year. Old time vibe with excellent customer service. Working here would definitely be a great way to lose weight because the server ran back and forth. We printed out the receipt and she ran inside to retrieve it. She did All of this with a smile. The food was delicious but be mindful everything is separate they don’t have combos. 14.95 for two double cheeseburgers with bacon and an order of fries. It’s not often that fast food includes excellent service. Thank you Swenson’s!

Good late-night food shop. While everyone else has shut down, you can still get a good burger here. And they also have one that changes seasonally. The service is quite friendly. The poppers are nice and cheesy. The dinners are a good size as well.

It was ok, nothing that I need to rush back to. The fries to me seems like they been recooked multiple times. The Fried mushrooms were fresh out the fryer. The Caramel Sundae looked like it wasn’t the correct amount. Maybe if they place it in a Sundae dish instead of a cup then it will not look like they shorting you on product. The famous Galley Burger, it’s not Much to look it but it was delicious the flavors from both the BBQ sauce and Tartar sauce was confusing but it worked and the bun was super soft. I’ll be back try again and to verify the fries

The food was good but the service sucks. I got there at 12:30. I had a half an hour left to order food and it took me 20 minutes to even get in contact with someone to place my order. I had to call the store for one of them to come out. By time they was getting ready to come out, I already was pulling off. I thought you guys closed at 1 o’clock if you guys close at 1 o’clock, why Are your staff not serving until then. I was pretty bummed I wasn’t able to get my food considering I stay so close to you guys and no no other store was open so I had to go home and put a frozen pizza in the oven that sucks what a waste of time
