I have been going to swensons all my life, I grew up-. near the OG and this past experience is the best I’ve ever had. We door dashed our order from Jackson all the way to green, when our order arrived our milkshake didn’t have the sticker on it to close it off. I called to see if they did that with the milkshakes before I called doordash. They took full accountability (which I didn’t expect nor think it was their problem.) The manger himself delivered a new shake, made the size bigger AND gave us a gift card. We weren’t mad at them at all, just simply wanted to know before I called doordash and they went way above and beyond to make this more than perfect! Very surprised, and happy. We love this location it always seems significantly fresher than others!

On December 6th I ordered a cheeseburger with a lettuce wrap through the app at this location which clearly states “lettuce wrap (no bun).

I received a cheeseburger with a bun smooshed and wrapped in lettuce.

I can see your face in disbelief reading this. But I’ve attached a photo. This is for real.

So anyway, that one bite of gluten to someone with an allergy had lengthy consequences. And when you say to yourself that’s a shared kitchen. Well eating food from a shared kitchen and not selecting items fried in a shared fryer is making a calculated choice based on minimal cross contamination. Taking a full bite of a bun hidden in a lettuce wrap exposes you to million times more gluten proteins than a brushing on a counter.
The manager did speak to me at length about the incident and refunded the order.

Friday night we had over 40 motorcycles come in. The servers, cooks and staff were friendly and amazing! Orders were brought out hot and correct! Thank you!!!!! We had a great time and left with full tummies!!

Always a solid consistent choice with great service! My personal favorite is the hamburger and adding cajun seasoning and bacon and pickles. However, you also can never go wrong with the galley boy either! The sauce is great on it! You can also add the cajun seasoning to the burger on that, to give it a little edge if you like. For sides we recommend the potato teezers and fried mushrooms, which are always a great choice! Service is always top notch here. You barely pull into your parking spot and they are greeting you at your window to see if you need a menu or are ready to place your order. Their personalities are always so outgoing and accommodating as well. We’ve never had a bad experience here and we appreciate the extra steps all the staff take during ANY weather! Food rarely takes long, and more recently, when they “car hop” and they bring your food, you get to use the tray inside your vehicle, instead of attaching it to your window. Not sure if that is a winter thing, but it seems more practical as we’re dining in our cars, so thank you for that. And finally, they will bring your dog a pup cup too!!

I was enjoying my Sunday night, awaiting my two burgers and thic peanut butter shake when I saw him. My curly haired waiter walking over with my food. Suddenly, out of nowhere he fell face forward spilling the shake all over himself and dropping the burgers on the ground. I watched in awe as he sits up and starts EATING MY FOOD AND LICKING THE SHAKE OFF THE GROUND. 10/10 would return for more entertainment.

Food is somewhat consistent but call ahead is always wrong, about 50% of the order on our last visit. Will probably be our last, it was $6 over what we actually ordered i just paid because I didn’t want to wait for them to remake my baskets and take the sides I never ordered off my bill.

UPDATE: they added a tablet system and I have had correct orders the last several times. Tickets on each item with the specific requests as well. Updated my review, well done.

Update again: several times the lettuce that’s an upcharge is dark brown and bad.

I got my food around 6:40 and my fries tasted like they have been sitting out for 10 minutes then dropped back into the fryer, my burger was decently good and my shake was good, but come on you couldn’t give me fresh fries you had to give me old ones that ridiculous, credit to all the servers.
