Went to get our Packzi’s here for the first time. They were busy but we got waited on right away. The guy just pointed at us and motioned us up to the counter.
My wife said we wanted several and he just motioned to the lower display. Some were regular donuts and some were the Packzi but we weren’t sure. When we asked for a Packzi in the lower case, he said the “tags weren’t correct, those aren’t Packzis” so we were confused. He never told us they were in the upper display behind him. Then one of the ladies working there, showed us where they were.
I know they were there early and were probably extremely busy with few breaks, but he was totally useless. I wasn’t even sure with what I ended up with. One was a red filling, I think it was strawberry which I didn’t care for and would never order.
I really hate dissing on servers and even when service is poor, I usually don’t but his behavior was well below poor. Thankfully the lady who stepped in was very good.
The Packzis were very good also, except for the red filling, squeezed most of it out.
Normally I would give them a 5.

Just shy of $10. I would go back but it’s late and it’s about a 20 min drive. I used to love this place. I got these around 5:30pm. I asked if they had any long johns filled with Bavarian cream but they didn’t. So I go 6 others for my family for a treat. They are rock hard. I could throw the powdered one through drywall. What a bummer. This is the second negative experience. Time to find a new donut place.

I love apple fritters! I am from out of state but visit my son a couple of times a year. Finally got a chance to stop this past weekend. I have eaten half of the fritter, and its just that, a fritter. Not even a speck of an apple in it. How utterly disappointing! Other donuts in the case looked good. I may try something else.

I always enjoyed this place but last time, I ended up stopping to get some donuts around 3 pm and I could tell which ones were made that morning and which ones had been sitting around. Usually it’s good but today I got a peanut butter cup donut and the lady told me after I already paid that she put raspberry filling in them instead today and she hopes I like it. Unfortunately I do not like it and if I wanted that I would’ve ordered a PB&J donut! I questioned if that wasn’t just the PBJ and she said no because that one uses strawberry filling! Jam is jam, lady.

I pulled up to the drive through, and gave my order. The girl in the window was acting high, and giggling at my order with another guy at the window. She was obviously not familiar with the menu, telling me they didn’t have stuff that I know that have, but in a delirious way to where I couldn’t coherently explain what I mean. Instead they just took my order, and grabbed the wrong items. Only 2 of 6 items were correct. The food we did receive was cold, stale, and seemingly aggressively handled. Do not recommend. Find a local donut shop that has respect for what they do.

Unfortunately, they’ve changed! Donuts used to have a wonderful favor. Now, taste like, what I imagine frosted cardboard would taste. Dutch Apple hardly had any filling, three bites in and no apple yet, regular glazed where undercooked and doughy, lemon filled left a horrible aftertaste. If you remember how they were in the early 2000’s, this at it!!!!! Was charged for a dozen, however, I only got a 1/2 dozen. The young lady said she she didn’t think I could get a refund and asked me to pick out 6 more donuts? Huh? I wish they were the same, but they must be skipping on the quality ingredients they used to have. So disappointed!

Wow, let me say that one more time. Wow. This place makes some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. The coffee was outstanding too. Spotless inside with really nice people taking care of you. If you’re a fisherman on your way to go out on the early morning. It’s a great place to stop. Have a really large parking lot in the back, so no problem with getting your boat in and out. if you’re driving an RV the same. If you’re driving a tractor trailer long as you’re not an oversize load you can get in here too. It’s about two blocks from the interstate so it’s not hard to get to. Check out the pictures I put in Man have they got the good stuff.
