I have recently started this thing where I go check out places I’ve been wanting to try solo living my life not waiting for anyone to do things I want to try and today it was Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea and might I say I was surprised at how much I liked it. I occasionally drink Starbucks coffee but I might be kissing Starbucks goodbye after trying here. From the time I walked in the staff was nice and accommodating. I didn’t know what I wanted and they quickly helped me figure it out and I didn’t feel rushed. It wasn’t busy inside and the atmosphere feels really homey. They had tons of things to choose from on the menu as far as coffee and tea and what I also liked was that they had alternative milk options for those who don’t drink regular milk like myself. Everything is fairly priced and to be honest the prices are way better than Starbucks in my opinion. On my food a small mishap was made on my sandwich but the manager realized right away and fixed it no problem! The food was delicious and that lemon bar was divine and I will be taking another home with me . Everything came out on a glass plate and when I was done eating they came out and got my dishes, and check this… the manager also came out and asked me if I enjoyed everything, major plus! I haven’t had service like this before at a coffee shop. Phenomenal service! I honestly can’t really say anything bad about this place, but if I had any negative feedback it’s that perhaps the music is slightly too loud…people usually come to read or study at coffee shops and the music could maybe be a tad lower but that’s it! I enjoyed my experience and I will be back! Starbucks you’ve lost one, sorry not sorry!! Ya’ll need to run not walk to Sweetwaters coffee and tea now!!!

The espresso is every bit as good as anything ordered in Europe. The atmosphere is always calming and the staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. There is live music at certain times and always board games available. The owner is fantastic and has put his heart and soul in both the Garfield location and the Hayes location. It definitely shows!

This is an absolute gem of a coffee shop! The owner and employees take real pride in their craft and take regular, ordinary coffee (and non-coffee!) beverages to a whole new level. Delicious coffee drinks with real syrups and house-made whipped cream. I love their peppermint white chocolate mocha!
They use actual Matcha powder in their drinks, not just extracts from leaves, giving a more robust flavor.
One of my favorite drinks is the strawberry bliss, which is made with yogurt and strawberries and they certainly do NOT skimp on the strawberries!!
My new favorites are:
1. Dragon Jasmine pearl tea- SO comforting and floral scented, and lightly flavored. I am a tea lover, and this certainly was the most unique and joyful flavor I’ve ever had.
2. Napoli Brew- OMG. This gives espresso and creamy ice cream and sweet hazelnut all in a milkshake form. Decadence in a cup.
As for the food, I would love to come back and try one of their breakfast sandwiches, but their OMG chocolate cake definitely takes the “CAKE” and lives up to it’s name.
Whether you’re in a hurry and need a quick drive-through fix, or want the more intimate sit down feel, the service, atmosphere, and selection is impeccable.
I really just appreciate having a great local coffee shop, like Sweetwater, so close to home!

Went here for the first time. We got breakfast sandwiches. They were okay. The biscuit was cold and hard but it was edible. The other sandwich was fine as well but I didn’t think the quality matched the price. I spent $30 on mediocre food and decent coffee.

When we went, there were only two employees working and one was a trainee. They were clearly not prepared for the amount of orders mixed with the one employee having to train the other. This isn’t the fault of the employees. It’s the fault of whoever scheduled just those two to work. Both employees were friendly, but it took over 15 minutes for one person (in my party of two) to get her order taken. I gave up since we were the only two people standing in line inside and I wasn’t approached. (They did seem to have a lot of online orders though. They were just very clearly understaffed.) My partner ordered a drink which she said tasted good so the quality is fine, it’s just not somewhere I’d recommend if you want to get one coffee in under thirty minutes.

I have visited this location and the one on Hayes multiple times and have always had a good experience. Great environment and food offerings for all ages. The staff are super friendly. There are multiple electrical outlets throughout the dining area to plug in your electronics if you want to get some work done. Also, they have board games on site if you want to play a game and hangout.

I ordered a tea, but the tea leaves spilled into my cup. I asked for a new cup with fresh water and a new tea bag. The employee said the barista had put the bag in incorrectly, then proceeded to touch my tea bag with her bare hands while wearing a bandage. When I asked again for a new cup and tea bag, she refused and told me I would need to purchase a new drink. This was unsanitary, unpleasant, and made me not want to come back EVER again.
