Good food and friendly service, absolutely love this gem! Such a country home feeling from walking in to leaving. My husband and I both got the popcorn chicken bowl and they were good ‘n hot. Lady that took our order told us to come back on a Sunday when they have a buffet with choice of 2 meats. We’ll definitely be back for that!

Super cute restaurant right off I81. It has a down home feel – like being at Grandma’s house and the food is just as good. The burgers are yummy and the pork chops were great! Baked mac n cheese was super good. We would definitely stop by again. The staff were very friendly and welcoming!! Thanks for having us and making us feel like family.

This place is incredible! The smashed burgers were delicious (I went back and ordered a 2nd). The mac and cheese and the pulled pork baked potato were also incredible. Great sweet tea and great service. Owner was walking around checking on the tables and made great conversation. They serve home made sweet tea and food was super fresh. Highly recommend and reasonably priced!

I visited this amazing place today after watching them on Facebook for forever. My only regret is not going sooner! The food was amazing and more on one plate than any 2 people could eat! It is well worth the price (which I was shocked is so low)!! I will be visiting again!

We had dinner here and it was late in the afternoon so some of the more popular dishes were sold out. So unfortunately I had to go for my second choice but the food that I received was awesome. The staff was nothing but polite helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful experience. After I placed my order due to a miscommunication between the waitress and the cook staff, there was only about a half order of macaroni and cheese but the owner came out and offered me my choice of an entire other side for my troubles. I chose to have collard greens which I’ve never eaten in my life and they were extremely delicious. The sweet tea was the perfect sweetness and actually tasted like tea and not just sugar water.
While I was there, some Appalachian trail through hikers visited as well and I saw that they were being well treated. There is a large bench outside for the hikers to leave their packs and the staff was nice enough to let the hikers charge their devices.
My only regrets are that I don’t live close enough to visit again and that there wasn’t any Sweetwater left that day for me to try.

Best “smoke” I’ve ever tasted on a pork sandwich. Noodle and cheese where okay. It is very hiker friendly and the grounds are HUGE. Now, if you are only stopping for one (1) meal… Go to the Mexican place in the gas station…. Bigger portions and better menu options!
