Lovely coffee spot in Sebring!
We stopped in Sebring on our way from Orlando > Naples and couldn’t believe what a lovely town it is!

The coffee menu was great and their seasonal drinks for fall were delicious. We had a coconut latte and a matcha.

Lovely service and atmosphere. I’ll be sure to stop in again if I’m down that way!

Such a charming and cheerful coffee shop! We had a Child latte and a strawberry cream Boba drink that was delicious. The service was fast and it has such a quaint vintage vibe.

A small coffee shop that’s packed with goodness. Staff was super friendly, fast and helpful. I had a basic Americano, BUT it was the best I’ve ever had. Really good coffee here. Wish they were close to home.

I was in Sebring for a work event and decided to give this coffee shop a try. It is located in the historic downtown area and is definitely worth a visit. I was greeted by the batista with a smile and a great spirit of customer service. The penny tile design and fun boho inspired decor made Sweetwater a relaxing stop. The iced latte I had was super tasty. I’d much rather give an independent small business and money than a large corporation.

Even though my coffee was a little weak, I’ll give this 5 stars because everything else was so good. The young lady providing service was outstanding. And it is convenient in downtown Sebring. Regarding noise, this is the quietest I’ve ever been there. But the high school traffic was very low that day.

P.S. Take a flashlight when you go to their bathroom. It seems clean, but you just can’t see.

I’m so glad I finally tried this coffee shop. I’ve been wanting to try it and just never have done it. The coffee was so good and fresh. The atmosphere was great. The building is really cool. Definitely seems historic. I should’ve gotten a large and this is only a medium iced vanilla latte with cold foam. I love local coffee shops over big chains any day. You won’t be disappointed going to Sweetwater coffee company in Sebring!

A Welcoming Space with Missed Potential
The atmosphere here is genuinely relaxing, and the place was impeccably clean. It provides a fantastic environment for catching up with friends or getting some work done, which is a big positive.
However, the experience fell short when it came to the coffee itself. As someone who visits a coffee shop, I expect a basic level of proficiency in coffee preparation, but unfortunately, the drink was terrible.
The issue seems to stem from the process. I observed the barista using pre-ground coffee scooped from a container, which was then directly tamped into the portafilter—skipping crucial steps like fresh grinding and proper distribution. These steps are fundamental to making a decent espresso shot.
While I’m certainly not a professional, I believe a commitment to these basics would drastically improve the drink quality and align the coffee with the wonderful atmosphere you’ve created. I hope to return and try an improved cup soon.

Just watched the barista pull a 3 second shot…. Coffee quality is not it. (8 year professional barista here – golden standard for a double shot of espresso should take 27-30 seconds to pull. This means they’re either not using enough espresso or it’s waaay too coarse.) vibes are great, baristas just need some schooling.
