Sweets -N- Eats is locally owned and operated by Patty and her daughter Tasha who both have extensive experience in the food and hospitality industry. Together, they have combined their experience to open Sweets -N- Eats to provide both locals and visitors with the best food, drinks, and conversations to be had. From the moment you walk in, you will know your experience will be a special one. Whether you are eating one of Patty’s homemade meals, one of Tasha’s made from scratch bakery goods, or just drinking a beer or sipping a mimosa at the bar, you are in for a treat. The staff here are extraordinarily friendly. They know the locals well, and its clear the locals love the place. Its nice to see a community being so supportive of local business.
The food is actually top notch, not a massive menu but whoever is back there in the kitchen clearly knows what they are doing.
If you’re in the area looking for a bite or a drink then I dont think you can go wrong here.

Previous: Because of another review, we stopped here instead of going to Jacksonville and we were so glad we did, indeed the breakfast was excellent!
We had the small breakfast which turned out to be plenty.
So, on the food side, excellent! With regards to other posts about masks…
I’ve added the 5th star as over the past few visit the mask-wearing has been to standard, so please do not let those previous post put you off of this place.

Cute place with a nice family running it. Wife and I split a pastrami sandwich and fruit cup and it was excellent. We didn’t buy any donuts but they looked amazing. Will definitely try on our next visit.

I never write reviews out of laziness but I had to about this place! It’s amazing! This has the small town country feel where everyone knows your name. The mimosas were more champagne then o.j., my boyfriend said he had the best eggs Benedict he has ever had, my breakfast burrito was so good and the service made me feel like a celebrity, seriously the best service I have ever had! I am so glad we tried this place out, it’s our new fav.

Oregon- Cast’n’Blaster
Stopped by with my dad for a bite to eat after coming back from the lake. Never been here before but it was great. I had a hot pastrami sando with tater salad was very good. Pops had a reuben with fries and his looked awesome hearty Rueben with really good saurkraut he said, the fries were really good too. Chatted with some locals for a min, friendly staff. Place is a must stop if you’re in the area and wanna grab a bite, two thumbs up we’ll be back for sure!
