It was actually my first time eating a whole meat meal in 20 years and after much research I found this place! I got the chopped sandwich (NY style) chopped beef with lots of cheese, onions etc. I must have inhaled the thing it was SO GOOD. Their sides are the best around here, the mac n cheese and collard greens are flavor town! And you can taste the love. I’ll be back to try more!! Great people, great food.

Recently a group of us visited Cincinnati and this place was recommended by our tour guide. I love that this place caters to dietary restrictions and doesn’t sacrifice flavor or seasoning. I ordered the pulled chicken with the greens and sweet potato casserole. I also ordered the banana pudding since it’s made differently in the south and quite frankly not as good. The greens was recommended by one of the employees and it did not disappoint. It was nice that it was made with turkey instead of pork, and I didn’t taste Vinegar in these grains either. They offer dishes that are standard vegan and vegetarian making it family friendly. The facility is clean and the atmosphere is bright. It was really nice for the employees to come around to the tables and make sure we were enjoying our meal. We had seven people in our group and there was Zero complaints.

I love love love this place! I find myself coming here everytime I’m in Cincinnati and it never disappoints me! I usually get a loaded fry with brisket and all the fixings but today I got the pulled chicken loaded fry and OMG they did not disappoint! It was so juicy and stacked up! And the banana pudding is literally the best I’ve ever had! I literally have to buy 2 every time I go! If you’re looking for good food and amazing customer service please come check these ladies out!

My girlfriend and I came here during a Cincinnati Trip we went on and the sandwiches and mac n cheese we got were absolutely fantastic! I got the brisket sandwich and she got the pulled pork! The owner was also very nice and even sat down and spoke with us for a bit while we finished up! The atmosphere was very nice and everything had a home-cooked feel to it. Definitely will be returning here if we are in the Cincinnati area again!

Great place to eat! Good vibes. Great friendly service, they checked up on us periodically while eating. Very clean place and most of all GREAT FOOD. My wife and I had each different sides and meats and everything was exceptional. I don’t give many 5 star reviews but this place deserved it

Customer service was pretty nice and fairly welcoming but i was extremely disappointed on my food. My family ordered the brisket sandwich platter wing platter and quesadillas. The amount of cheese in the quesadilla was ridiculous!! Just an over flow of regular cheese. Cant understand why they put so much cheese in it hardly no chicken. The tortilla very greasy and soaked in oil. It was inedible. My brisket had a lot fat on it i prefer not so much fat and it was just a few thin slices it actually didn’t taste bad though. the greens were kinda bitter and spicy. The fries were just fries so i ate them. Chicken wings a bit dry. Idk if it was close to closing time? I don’t eat pork but my husband does and the ribs and tips were sold out. I also got some banana pudding i haven’t tried yet.. fingers crossed for that.

I previously tried to visit this restaurant during another trip to Cincinnati; however, they were out of the items I wanted that day. When I returned to Cincinnati while working at UC Health Holmes Hospital, I had the opportunity to try it again. I called the restaurant ahead of time, and they informed me that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich platter with macaroni and cheese and baked beans.
When I arrived, my food was not ready, and I was informed that their ticket system was down. It took an additional 10-15 minutes to prepare my order, despite them knowing what I had requested. While I waited, I walked around the restaurant, which appeared to be clean. Various patrons were coming in, and a few others were also waiting for their food. Unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule and needed to get to the airport. When I asked if my food was ready, they finally completed my order.
Though I couldn’t eat it right away, I eventually got the chance to try the food. I found the macaroni and cheese to be lacking in flavor and unappealing in texture. The pulled chicken was extremely salty to the point of being inedible. The best item on my plate was the baked beans. Unfortunately, this visit left a disappointing first impression, but I am willing to give the restaurant one more try, as it may have simply been an off day.

I was really skeptical about this place at first since I’ve never been and I’m not a fan of BBQ but this place is AMAZING! My family just went and we thought their prices were really high at first but once we got the food it made sense because the portions were huge & it tasted amazing. The loaded fries were HUGE, the Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken were both amazing, juicy, and tasted almost smoked! The cheese burger was the biggest one I’ve ever seen and my mom loved it. We got a side of baked beans and greens and my family loved them but couldn’t finish them since our mains were so big. To top it off the 3 guys working in there were so nice and helpful.
