Sweets by Mrs. C brings Christmas cheer to Monongahela all year long. I got to meet Santa Claus’ daughter, Heidi Hoffman who gave me the history of the establishment. We got along like old friends and I could tell she is all heart.
Opened in 2019 at the main road of Monongahela, PA – the cozy, holiday-themed ice cream and candy shop was inspired by Heidi’s love of Christmas and named in honor of her mother, known locally for spreading joy as “Mrs. Claus.” Her mother named a previous business store after her, and Heidi wanted to return the favour. This is such a sweet shop! I love the Christmas theme and it feels like you’re in Santa’s shop! The owner is so kind and welcoming and the icecream is delicious! I’ve never had Steelers inspired icecream and it tasted so yummy there are so many candies to try as well that are so unique and fun! Would recommend especially to take your kids

This place is absolutely amazing. Love the year round Christmas theme. Brought on by beautiful Mrs. Clause on the wall. The menu is incredible, can make about a million different variations of ice cream treats here. Mrs. C is the absolute best and always double and triple checks to make sure its exactly what you wanted. Highly highly recommend if your in the area. Even if not make the trip totally worth it.

Absolutely old fashioned adorable place! Many great candies from old fashion to newer and so many I have never seen, had to get some! Great choices on ice cream, I tried the peach shake.. omg yummy and refreshing ! The young lady working was a gem to chat with!

I love the Mrs. Claus idea based on her Mom, it’s an inviting cozy atmosphere. Excellent home made ice cream and waffle cones. I travel widely, it’s a great shop.

This place is just flat out AWESOME! Not only are the sundae creations unique, but they’re DELICIOUS! The old school candy throughout the shop took me back to my childhood instantly, and the newer creations appealed to my daughters! (freeze dried gummi works?! Oh yes!!) Wrap it all in a fun Christmas theme, and set some games out to have some quality family time while enjoying your sundaes and you just can’t go wrong!!
