I have been eating at this restaurant for quite some time. I personally believe the best part about this restaurant is the people serving the food and of course the cook best grits in town. The servers have such great personalities it’s a really fun place to eat. Very family fun atmosphere. They definitely have great senses of humor that’s a fact. It is very inexpensive but very good food like comfort food. The cook obviously puts love in it you can’t cook without it. Thank you girls and of course you guys who are involved. Paula,Loy, Heather,Mary Ann,Jaquin and everyone else involved in helping us enjoy a damn good meal that’s a fact it’s not just my opinion ❤️

Dashed the Eggs Benedict and a side of Polish sausage to my hotel and was very pleased. The hollandaise sauce was wonderful. I was glad I ordered extra. The polish sausage was a side I don’t usually see so I added it, great snap and browned just enough. The flavor was wholesome and honest, real food done well. I can’t wait to actually find time to eat there.

I was not expecting a poor experience, I was really hoping for this to be a diner I would like. To start, I wanted the original french toast, $6.99 online, $7.99 on the menu in person, then $8.99 on the payment screen. Their prices are inaccurate and misleading. Then there is a $2.00 to-go fee; Red Lobster doesn’t even charge a to-go fee. The waiter asks me if I want powdered sugar on top, I didn’t get it. The eggs weren’t even scrambled and were bland. Then the meal is supposed to come with a drink, that doesn’t even mention what size but common sense you expect a decent size. The staff mentions “the meal comes with a 5oz…”It says nowhere on the menu about a 5oz, it just says drink. You mean to tell me this barely even 16oz cup couldn’t have been filled up?

I did not have a picture of the food unfortunately, because I ate it all! Lol me and my son went here for the first time. He got the waffle and I got the French toast. It was all very good! Only downfall I’d say was that we did see a bug on our sad excuse of an orange jucie (that I had to kill, but it wasnt a roach). The bacon was really salty (but still edible) and the coffee, my son said tasted burnt. We had a laugh at the sign outside and the hostess/waitress was very nice. It felt like one of those diners you see in the old movies. It was very outdated but I guess thats part of the charm. Id go back if im in the part of town again most likely.

This place is incredible. Had the St. Lucie Biscuits, no notes. Amy and the rest of the staff were welcoming and accommodating beyond expectation. Can’t wait to come through here again.

If you want to see the before picture, do yourself a favor and go order it for yourself.

My daughter and my four grandkids from Sarasota and I stopped there for breakfast and it was a pleasant surprise!
The women working there that day were fantastic and the food was great.
The icing on the cake was all the pictures of their sign board with past sayings. Loved it so much I had to take a few pictures before I left.
Would definitely stop there again.

We have been going here for awhile. Always good! The food, service, atmosphere, and the price is why we go here. I had the chocolate crapes and coffee. Very good and coffee was perfect! Amy was our waitress she was great and also put a strawberry heart on my crapes it was the day before valentine day thank you
I would highly recommend this place.

Been here a few times and brought my friend today, seemed like the regulars get more attention. The old lady waitresses were rude telling me to sit down instead of reading their signs on the wall so a regular customer could sit down. Then my friend said she rolled her eyes. Food is always amazing. But today she came back and said she forgot our order and to put it in… I’ve never had someone forget to put in an order. Weird. The younger waitress is always way more pleasant. Maybe the old ladies just had a bad day dealing with old people all day idk. But I found the favoritism of regulars was simply ridiculous. And we had to ask 4 times for silverware. I love this place but this last time was a absolutely horrendous experience. I’ve never left a $0 tip before, but really wanted to today… Wow, they really needed a middle finger today. Good food sweeties maybe need new waitresses though…

I love a good diner when I’m travelling. And I appreciate a diner with a heart. I sat at the lunch counter recently and a scruffy guy was sitting next to me. He was chowing down a pancake stack, some bacon and a coffee. Super cold day. I snuck round the corner and flagged down a waitress and said I wanted to buy his meal, but she told me, ‘Him? He never has to pay for a meal here. We got him.’ I went on to have a great conversation with the guy, who told me all about his life and about the area.

Kudos to Sweetie’s for helping a guy get a meal on a cold day. I’ll make it a point to stop by every time I’m in town.

I drove past this restaurant for years always admiring their different array of marquee signs out front. I do love the vibes of a diner restaurant and finally gave this place a shot this past week.

I was very impressed with my visit to Sweeties. I giggled a lot of the different pictures and decorations they had displayed in their restaurant. The food was awesome. I thought the prices would be lower but the amount of food you are given is worth every penny. Eggs Benedicts are probably the biggest I have ever had and the home fries were delicious. Staff were friendly and were attentive to our every need. Will definitely refer to place to others moving forward.
