We made an online order to pick up and despite getting there 20 minutes after initially placing the order, had to wait an additional 45 minutes for it to be ready. There was very few customers in the store at the time so it was confusing why it took so long. It was especially disappointing because we intended to eat this during our daughters nap and then we ended up spending our time waiting in sweet green and by the time it was done our daughter had woken up so not a very relaxing lunch.

There were 4 or 5 employees working behind the counter. The all were avoiding the line of no less than 20 people to make the to-go orders and said they couldn’t help us until they finished those. I waited 20+ minutes in line and they never even got to us, and multiple people were asking or frustrated. If you’re going to have 5 employees you think you’d separate
online and in person orders. Unfortunately, I will never go to this location again.

I just had a really wonderful experience at Sweetgreens in Greenbrae, CA. This location has been hit or miss for me in the past, and after this visit, I am a believer again.
Sukhrha helped me today. He has a wonderful work ethic and very calm style. He listens the first time and delivers exactly what you ask for with a smile.
I decided to stay and dine in. I watched as the team worked with new customers. Another stand out was Christipher. Although he didn’t help me, he was friendly and patient with all the customers he worked with.
The whole crew seems to work well together and care about a good customer experience.

So fresh and delicious. Ross was super attentive, inviting, and professional. Was able to customize a bowl with amazing options. Ross knew everything that was vegan and was super helpful and kind. Being vegan can be “annoying” at times when I want to eat out,mainly because I feel difficult asking if the sauces have dairy and all that, and it’s always way more uncomfortable when people have to go ask someone else, or read the ingredients off the labels. Ross greeted us as soon as I walked in. Explained the process with a smile on his face the whole time, and again was super knowledgeable and kind. No attitude about any questions, with a positive upbeat demeanor. As a long time server, I know how this can make or break an experience and he definitely made it a positive experience. Will absolutely be returning any chance I get. My mom and aunt highly enjoyed their salads and experience as well!

Horrible service – Ordered online on a weeknight through the app. Arrived when the app told me my order should be ready. Was told it’s not ready yet and cannot be made until they help every person in line (10 people). As new people arrived, the staff continued to make their orders. I asked politely multiple times since my order was now 20 minutes past when it was meant to be ready, they were rude and told me they could not help me. What’s the point of ordering ahead if they ignore you? Such bad service.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. Even though there was only one person ahead of me, I waited 10–12 minutes without being acknowledged by any of the five staff members who were working. They didn’t appear busy, which made the lack of attention even more frustrating.
When I was finally helped, the service felt rushed and impersonal. On top of that, the salad itself was very average—especially considering the price. For the quality of food and the poor level of service, I don’t feel it’s worth it. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back

The employer turnover here must be around 90% which means training is an issue and consistency is not there. I have to always check recipe and portions.

We enjoy Sweetgreen usually, but for our last order, we placed an order for two chicken salads, both of which came without chicken. It was a big disappointment… would recommend checking your order before you leave.
Update: reported via Sweetgreen app and was credited immediately. Will be checking orders more closely next time but will be back!
