Went during grand opening weekend–the steak dish was OK, nothing to rave about.
Again today for the hot honey chicken special. Ordering digitally for someone thawing from the Ice Age takes practice, lots of patience, a dash of sheer frustration, but I got it.
Love that one could customize the order, a great feature.
Sadly, watery diarrhea almost 2 hrs later. Lucky I had just gotten home. Bathroom is off limits for the next hour. :/

Ordered another hot honey chicken protein bowl yesterday, a tad nervous, but no issue. Delicious. Got better at customizing to max nutrition.
Huge bowl. Great value for 49g of protein, $12 special.
Turns out my two daughters like Sweet Green a lot, almost as much as Cava.

Fresh ingredients and ton of options to customize my meal and banger of a salad. I liked that the system wasn’t nickling and diming me for every item I chose to add- I customized a lot and only additional . choice Happened to be in town for conference but wow would i like A place like this by where i live.

I love sweetgreen, I’ve been eating sweetgreen for about 10 years since I lived in Brooklyn and then in Miami. I was so stoked to see one opening in Long Beach.
The staff is great, the place looks amazing… BUT the human element has been removed and I feel like that’s caused some inconsistencies for me.
I usually order the chicken pesto parm bowl and the chicken is warm but the tomatoes feel cold and refrigerated, the different temps are a bit off putting.
Also, I like lots of pesto and lots of hot sauce, this has never been an issue before because I can request it from the employee preparing it in front of me, but because everything is digital now, even if I put high on pesto and high on hot sauce, I’m not quite tasting the usual flavor I’m used to. I wouldn’t mind paying extra for side sauces but that’s not an option and I don’t understand why?

So happy #sweetgreen is open in Long Beach, the food is absolutely amazing very healthy. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Will definitely return soon and I also recommend #sweetgreen…

Exceptional staff- good service is hard to come by nowadays and they are consistently friendly, helpful, and service-oriented. The food is consistent with sweet greens quality but I’d say the staff is a standout! Shawn helped me today and was great but all of them are great!
