Food gets two stars for being edible. However, every component in the bowl was cold. I had not been to sweet greens in a while but remember having a pretty hefty bowl justifying the hefty price. Unfortunately, this bowl looked like a $21 toddlers dinner plate. Next time I will get twice the protein for half the cost at chipotle.

Clean and quick service. This trip to Chicago I went to this location twice. Both time salads were good and fresh. They’re big salads and filled me up but it’s almost $20. Quick service and located right off of Michigan Ave.

Hail Mary pass with this Sweetgreen, closing time and only one we could make it to on foot. So, so we did. The pass was caught but SG usually has a habit of fumbling towards the end of the day with ingredients and their ability to assemble to bowls. They fumbled, but they recovered cause SG is just too damn good to mess up.

Streeterville Sweetgreen customers beware! For many years, my family and I have been regular customers of Sweetgreen. Until recently, we’ve never had a single complaint about quality, value or customer service at any location (NYC, DC, Boston, Chicago, Coral Gables…). A couple of months ago, a new store manager took over our local Streeterville location. On three different recent occasions, we have ordered dinner on-line while in transit from O’Hare and received bowls that have not only been missing protein (Steelhead) but have also been noticeably skimpy in terms of contents (see photos). The first time, we said nothing. The second time, when presented with a photo of the bowl we received, the store manager begrudgingly compensated us one of the bowls we purchased for lunch. The third time, when we also provided a photo of the bowl that was missing Steelhead (beside a can of tuna my husband added for his protein), the manager was not only surly but refused to make any concession — despite the fact that her very regular customers had ordered two more bowls for lunch! The Streeterville location has lost our business. We hope our recent experiences there are NOT indicative of the company’s approach to customer service!

Do yourself a favor and just walk over to the River North location a few blocks west. Streeterville location has consistently forgotten ingredients like the chicken or served over cooked past its prime ingredients. I get Guacamole Greens a lot and today the avocado was brown all the way through and chips looked like they sprinkled the bottom of the bag into my bowl. For $15 salad it should not be this way. River North location gets it right every time. Maybe they need to train over there.

I was in Chicago for 3 days and i came here 3x. I love sweet green!!! The one I grew up with is in DC but I’ve been to about five different locations while traveling. Everyone has always been nice but Jojo is the best SG employee I met. Thank you.
My mom had never had sweet green before and Jojo knocked her first visit out of the park! She liked it so much we came back the next day. He was professional, friendly, competent and overall a pleasure to work with!!
Can’t wait to come back.
P.s. my go to is the guacamole greens with tofu instead of chicken, light dressing 🙂

Major concerns with hygiene and food preparation.
I had chicken instead of Tofu in my order which still is an acceptable mistake but an insect in the greens is not.

The best service I have ever experienced at a counter service restaurant.
The staff are always very friendly and accommodating and seem to know the real meaning of hospitality. I only ever do togo but the restaurant looks super clean and organized.
I love the hummus salad but could quite happily eat anything from the menu!
