I have been wanting to try this spot since it opened but I didn’t have a great experience at Crisp & Green and held it against them and the other reviews really made me think twice (mistake)! So happy I stopped in! I waited to go twice before doing a review. The service 10 out of 10. The same girl helped me both times and she couldn’t have been sweeter or more helpful. My first time she helped while I made life decisions for almost 10 minutes and I never felt rushed she is a true gem!! The place itself is cute and clean 9 out of 10! The first salad was 10 out of 10 for sure. I had the harvest bowl, my server mentioned it was her favorite so I went with that and she suggested trying the miso dressing in addition…ummm !! Today I got the chicken avocado ranch and she suggested an additional BBQ dressing and I have to admit, I was scared to try it until I was almost finished, why why why did I do that!! The BBQ bought the salad from a 6.5 out of 10 to a 9 out of 10, it was bussin! I got the fried both times once with the garlic aioli and the other with the pickled ketchup, again my server said the picked ketchup was her fav and it hit!! Other reviews said the portions were small and that wasn’t my experience at all. Each time my salad was large and I was able to get 2 meals out of each salad. Over all my experience has been a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend giving them a visit.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT COOK THEIR FOOD PROPERLY OR THOROUGHLY.

Two bowls worth $40+ and no one else being served and no fresh food being made?! You have 4 workers (INCLUDING 2 MANAGERS!!) walking around with AirPods in their ears and sitting on their phones when they should be following basic health regulations and not leaving food sit out for hours.

Put in a mobile order and picked it up 15 minutes later. Get home and the rice is stale, hard as a rock, and inedible, whole meal is cold and meat is rubbery. I get offered ONE free entree as compensation?!

20 minutes of my time driving back and forth in garbage weather after working hard all day just to get laughed at when voicing my concerns.

The manager with the hijab and glasses needs to step it up and teach her employees how to cook rice. Because how do you have two full size rice cookers and the food is old? Then want to say you cooked fresh rice an hour ago…it is an hour before you close, what do you mean you cooked it an hour ago? Rice should not be hard as a rock. Yall are not busy in there and one entree on a $40 meal with barely filled bowls is not adequate compensation for old, cold, stale food. Who knows what else was old or uncooked in our bowls?

Never going back to this location ever again. Y’all barely get customers as it is. Might as well go to chipotle, might be a bit unhealthier but at least the food is always fresh. GROSS.

EDIT AFTER SWEETGREENS COMMENT:

I already reached out online before going into the store. I will not be eating sweetgreen again. Get some staff, both remotely and on-site, that can do the basics of their job lol

Ordered take-out and have never had such a poor experience with the quality of food from a Sweetgreen location. Paid extra to add steak as a second protein and received maybe 8 small chunks of meat. The salmon was fishy and discolored, paid to added cabbage and peppers and received maybe 3 pieces of each. Actually laughable experience

I came to this location to order a salad because I was in the area, when I came in there was a lady who seemed to be very displeased with the service provided. From what I overheard the manager handling the situation was very kind and patient with the customer, even offering a full refund and to replace what was messed up. The team here seems pretty genuine so I continued with my order.
I was satisfied with my crispy rice bowl, I decided to add the new seasonal cauliflower as this item isn’t available at the Sweetgreen’s that I regular at. I thought it was alright but I do miss the Brussels sprout. The food was good, the team was nice, and if I do find myself on this side of the metro I would definitely stop by again!

Gal with the hair net does not seem to enjoy her job. She spoke so quietly we had to ask her to repeat herself every time she asked something. No eye contact. No smiles. Not friendly at all. Plopped bowls down as if she were upset and lids almost came off. Dinning area unattended. Every table is dirty. Great food though!

12/9/25 1pm. Went back. Huge difference in service. Greeted from the guy in back once we got inside. Counter person came out greeted us just as well. Very nice patient and personable. Great seasonal dish of garlic parm cauliflower bowl. Clean too.

I love sweetgreen and am so happy to see it gaining ground in the Twin Cities! It’s hard to choose from all the great menu options but the kale caesar, fish taco, and hot honey chicken are the bomb for me. I’m a big fan of their approach to sustainability and rotating seasonal menu. More restaurants could learn from sweetgreen. Service, atmosphere, the flavors, and quality are all on point. I’ve never had a bad experience with them. Sweetgreen proves that salad can be stellar.

Just had the best salad ever. Miranda was incredibly helpful in helping me decide what I wanted. She was also really kind and knew the menu very well. Would go back to get her service again! Yum!

I came today at 8:41pm and was told that they are not serving and they’re closing, I told them that this place closes at 9pm, so there is 19 minutes left, a girl that was working said that I can order and when I ordered she started to pour and serve with her hands she was wearing gloves but still that is disgusting honestly and said we took the spoons away, half of the stuff were taken away, she even peeled the avocado with her hands and put it in my plate, and made me pay full price, I honestly couldn’t eat that, and threw it once I left. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU SHOULD SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS.

This is the worst sweetgreen location in the metro area because they skimp out on their portion sizes. I got two bowls and they were barely filled! It was about $40 in total (caramelized steak bowl and harvest bowl). Usually sweetgreen is very generous with their portions but not this location. I live closer to this Saint Paul location, but I always drive an extra 25 minutes to the Edina or Minneapolis ones so that I can actually get a fair amount (the amount I’m paying for). Now we all know anything over $10 for a salad is crazy, but the food is impeccable and healthy. Sweetgreen is a luxury salad bowl place and so I’m willing to spend my money here, but never again at this location. I took a look at other reviews of this location and I’m seeing similar comments such as how they’re “skimpy” with their food. I need sweetgreen to do better for this location and NOT just send me a generic “send your concerns to this email” response. Given that there’s tons of great food options over on Grand, I think this place needs to step up on their service if they want to stay there long.

Don’t bother going here. They are always behind, out of an ingredient, etc. NEVER order delivery. Your promised delivery time will be immensely off, and there’s no way to contact the store to ask what’s up. I honestly don’t know how this location stays in business.

Go to Crisp & Green instead.
