Great salads at great prices. I don’t even like salads, but was persuaded to go…the hot honey chicken dish was perfect. Higher calories than the salad, but I didn’t care about that. The flavors were good and blended well, and the ingredients were fresh.
For a drink, we got a hibiscus lemon tea, which went well with the meal.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised that it was as good as it was. Definitely coming back down the road.

Sweetgreen used to be one of my favorite places to grab a healthy, delicious lunch. Although the salads are expensive, I generally felt it was worth it for the quality and the portions. My experience with this location (multiple salads purchased) is that the portions are becoming smaller and smaller. For a $13-14 dollar salad, it’s about half the size it is at other locations. I can’t recommend coming here with so many other food options nearby in Arlington. This was my most recent order (the bowl isn’t even halfway full).

I ordered from Sweetgreen via Grubhub. I checked ahead of time and realized the location from at least 15 minutes away by car but decided to try to order delivery anyway. I ordered Buffalo Chicken Bowl and added tortilla chips, walnuts, chickpeas, Caesar Dressing, and bread.
I ordered it at 12:03 PM and the order arrived at 1:22 PM. The driver was nice but if I judge from Tracking he got lost once and stopped for gas once. The order was well protected and came with a fork.
The salad was okay and there was a lot of it. The dressings were fresh but there wasn’t a lot of chicken and the chips were stale (and crushed). Also it was blackened chicken and while spicy it didn’t seem like Buffalo Chicken. I am not too sure if they screwed up my order or if their Buffalo Chicken Bowl is just sad. Even with a discount on delivery I still feel it was overpriced. Grubhub gets 1 out of 5 and the restaurant gets 3 out of 5.

I’m a regular at the Sweetgreen in Pentagon City and honestly shocked my experience could be so different. The portion at this SG is smaller, they clearly used dry chicken that has been sitting out and it wasn’t blackened. They also completely failed to add the spicy broccoli. Just a very poor experience.

Serve water in disposable plastic glasses. Do not be fooled by the word green. Even compostable glasses take more than 100 years to decompose in the wild. Do not be fooled by thier official pictures. If they were not hypocrit, they would buy a dishwasher, glasses forks and knives and hire someone to clean the dishes. For every person who eats there, it is one disposable plastic glass, one disposable plastic fork one disposable bowl.
