My salad was so good, I needed some privacy. It was also a good amount of food. I couldn’t finish my food, so I actually saved half of it to eat an hour later :).
I will most definitely be back and try some of the other bowls and salads !
I mean, it’s all right… the bar isn’t too high for a bowls & salads kind of place. I got the Miso Glazed Salmon but in a salad instead of a rice bowl. I got light sauce but they still gave me too much. The portion is nice but comes at a hefty price. Like many of the other reviews say, CAVA is ideal over this, but I’d still say my experience at sweetgreen was positive. 4 stars!
I placed my order online for pickup.
I give the service a 4 because they lady greeted me as I entered the pickup area.
I give the atmosphere a 3 because I did not eat in but got a glimpse of it with it being a small location.
I gave my food a 2 because it was not presentable, portion, tastiness.
I got 2 kids meal for my daughter (2 just in case she didn’t like anything) & sweet potatoes for me because I was craving it and the picture online looked so appealing.
Before I give my daughter food, I always taste test first.
When opening up the kids meal, I was very disappointed.
1. The mini mezze- portion was set up for a baby just getting to eat solids in my opinion.
The tortilla chips were stale and looked like the remains in the bottom of the bag, the cucumbers were cut poorly and the chicken seemed to be as if it was leftovers.
2. Ranchy chicken + rice
Was more presentable then the kids meal above; however, the chips were also looking like crumbs, the chicken taste like left overs.
The rice and the sauce were the only 2 things that my daughter ate and she loves bite sized chicken so to see her not eat the chicken, I knew it wasn’t me.
3. The sweet potatoes- also seemed like they were not fresh; however, it tasted better than any other thing I ordered.
I really wanted to like sweetgreen because I hear great things and I thought today would be the day as I transition my daughter and I to a more healthy eating lifestyle.
I recommend to eat in and/or to pay attention to your takeout food to ensure you don’t go home unhappy.
These portions used to be bigger than actually worth something to order now it’s just a waste of my money
