Sweeter Things ice cream shack as a fun experience for the family this Memorial Day weekend. Lots and lots of flavors of ice cream to choose from could be a little overwhelming. Defiantly something for everyone! We had the orange sherbet, cappuccino crunch, and the chocolate overload. A variety of vendor shops inside the shack as well was fun to look and shop while enjoying ice cream. Also, there are games on the tables for some family fun. 10/10 recommend. You should stop by!

First time checking this place out. The girl that was working tried rushing me and wouldn’t respond as I tried to talk to her. After she made my cup of ice cream she slammed the ice cream chest door hard enough for it to slide back open. A young couple walked in as I was checking out. She didn’t offer me a spoon or tell me where they were. I had to ask the guy for one She had rushed over to the couple and began telling the woman how pretty her dress was and became chatty all of a sudden. It almost felt like i wasnt a “valuable customer” to her so she wasn’t about to waste time on me with pleasantries or decent service. This ruined it for me. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere…..
After leaving this review I decided to read all of their lowest reviews. And there’s actually quite a few one star reviews with one common theme: rude, unfriendly, unwelcoming, unprofessional staff with zero regard for customer care. The owners response to every complaint seems to always place blame on the customer and defends the employees behavior with some sort of excuse. If your employees/family are the problem, fire them! And hire somebody that won’t run your customers away.

Great service with so many options and choices. There are different candy, snack and drink options as well.

Highly recommended! Cutest little shop with the biggest variety of ice creams, so many flavors to choose from, but oh so good! My husband had a root beer float yesterday, it was so good he went again today and had ice cream sandwich, he was in heaven! If you haven’t tried them yet, please stop by. Great customer service too!

Stopped by this afternoon for a pup-cup after my puppy’s vet appointment. The girls behind the counter were very sweet and helpful. Great local shop and great atmosphere. I’ve been here several times in the past and I’ve always had a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!

Pretty cool local shop with local art for sale and they have ice cream too. The staff is very friendly. I had lots of fun eating ice cream and playing checkers with my wife.

I stopped by here on a cold rainy day on my lunch break. The employee was incredibly kind and lovely to talk to. Very affordable price with how much you get. I spent $4 with tax on two scoops. I will most definitely be stopping here whenever I’m in town!

Absolutely amazing ice cream, costumer service, and just people in general! We just tried their new coffee bar this morning and it’s definitely our new favorite coffee place in swansboro! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Awesome place. Needed an ice cream fix and this was the ticket. Awesome sundaes and great selection of real ice cream. Owner was very nice and has a neat collection of local artists work and specialty items for sale also. You must stop by!
