Jan, Milkana, and Nargess are a winning team and are fun. They know all the products which are homemade and made the two items warmed to perfection. Their personalities and customer service make it ideal and a happy place to enjoy a meal. It is similar in style to a coffee shop though the menu is far more extensive.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered a cheese and avocado sandwich, but the sandwich was almost entirely cheese, with only a few tiny pieces of avocado—so little that it was barely noticeable. For a $13 sandwich, this felt misleading and overpriced.
I also ordered a latte, which had very little milk, and the tea we ordered was served cold. What was especially disappointing is that I left a tip hoping for attentive service, but instead received a hard, crusty sandwich that clearly wasn’t prepared with care.
The woman I believe to be the owner was not welcoming, and the atmosphere felt uninviting. There were multiple signs posted with strict rules (no videos, no speakers, etc.), which made the place feel more like a controlled space than a café meant to be enjoyed.
Additionally, I noticed the bread appeared to be stored in a glass ice cream freezer, which raised concerns about whether it was kept at an appropriate temperature.
Please don’t advertise avocado in your sandwiches if you’re only adding a minimal amount. Overall, the experience did not match the price or expectations. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning

I had such a wonderful first visit to this bakery! As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Erica, who was incredibly helpful in offering suggestions. I decided to try two cinnamon buns—one with pecans and one without—and I’m so glad I did. They were freshly made, still steaming, and absolutely divine! The texture was perfectly soft, with just the right amount of sweetness. If you’re looking for a bakery that serves top-tier pastries with great customer service, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

Other reviewers have commented on the owner’s poor customer service, and my experience was the same. No greeting, no acknowledgment, and only a curt “credit or debit” before she walked away mid-transaction. This visit confirmed that I won’t be returning. The pastries are decent, the sandwiches are just okay, and the prices are higher than the quality justifies

I like this place. Their cupcakes are the best in McLean, and their other baked goods are consistently delicious. As others have noted, however, the service is slow and can be unfriendly. I support local small businesses and try to come here instead of the nearby chain coffee shop. I also love that it’s conveniently located in the same building as many medical offices. The slow service, however, means that it’s not always possible to grab a quick cup of coffee on your way to an appointment. I tried to do that a couple times and had to bail because the staff didn’t even acknowledge that I was in line.

I thought it was me until I read the reviews. The woman at the front counter did not acknowledge me and walked off to do something else while I was waiting to order. I ordered a slice of the honeybun cake. It was VERY VERY dry (left open and uncovered) I even tried to microwave it and that didnt help either. Please dont spend your money where you dont feel welcome and dont waste money or bad food!

Everyone is so friendly. I’m vegan and was happy to find delicious vegan soup options and vegan baguettes. However, the pastries are not vegan. But, they are all homemade and look heavenly. They offer gluten-free as well.

First of all I want to mention that the service is always excellent but the food was not so good as looking. Had coffee there a couple of times- so/so, would not come specially. My Obgyn is in the same building, this is the reason I am stopping by sometimes. Yesterday I tried their breakfast, but would not going to take it again- overpriced for this kind of sandwich.
